Amusing Spanish comedy in which two good actors as Antonio Resines and Jordi Vilches become involved into improbable , disconcerting adventures . This is a buddy movie in which two botcher killers , Paco (Antonio Resines) and Alex (Jordi Vilches) carry out a crime caper . Later on , they are joined by Tatiana (Elena Anaya) , a young whore , a type of woman who shows great love for Alex . In pursuing its objective the losers will face a group of of murderous , a butcher (Rosa Maria Sarda) with dark business and a nasty gangster (Jaime Blanch) . Meanwhile , the motley group takes on difficulties and dangers . As they get mix in kidnapping , murders , nutty deeds and many other things ; nothing more than a series of coincidences and twists of fate . Nothing should be taken at face-value; nothing should be taken seriously .

This is a slightly funny film with entertaining events , giggles , plot twists and a bunch of very comical roles . The film moves in fits and starts most of which would be desirable , with more traps the viewer resists any kind, and some moments of enjoyment and others quite a few embarrassing . This is a typical Spanish comedy from the 2000s with the usual ingredients such as enjoyable humor topped with a little bit of original touches here and there ; including , kidnappings , pursuits and improbable situations . This title blends action elements with comedy , tongue-in-cheek and intrigue ; so, the tone of the film is light-hearted . My feelings are extremely mixed but I must admit there are things I haven't been able to stop smiling about , the first part is played mostly for laughs but the ending part turned into a action movie plenty of twists and turns . The adventures of the protagonists care so repetitive and the most part results to be rich in absurdities and implausibilities . It turns out to be pleasantly fun that offers no intellectual stimulus whatsoever ; an exercise in pure amusement in which entertainment and fun are guaranteed . Some violence , tortures , hand-slitting , and profanities crop up often enough to help the film zip along throughout the half an hour runtime . Sympathetic performances from Antonio Resines as a veteran hit man and Jordi Vilches as a naive young usually deceived by prostitutes . Agreeable support cast gives good acting such as the notorious Manuel Alexandre , Fele Martínez , Joan Crosas , Jaime Blanch , Mariola Fuentes , Antonio Gamero , Emilio Gavira and Luis Cuenca .

After two short films, he made this long feature debut with "Two Tough Guys" in 2002, followed by "A Good Man" in 2007. His last movie, "Game Of Werewolves", also titled ¨Attack of the Werewolves" was selected in more than 30 International Film Festivals, and won several awards, including the Audience Award in Fantasia Montreal 2012 and the Critic's Award in Fantasporto 2012 ; plus was much praised by critics as well as public during its European festival . In ¨Dos Tipos Duros¨ he clearly demonstrates sound knowledge of the genre he deconstructs with heartfelt accuracy . Rating : Good . Well worth watching .
