Night of Too Many Stars

Paul Rudd Shows Off His New Costume For Ant-Man And The Wasp
Hope Van Dyne won’t be the only one sporting a revamped suit in Ant-Man and the Wasp, as a new video from HBO has brought us closer to Scott Lang’s new duds as they’ll appear in the 2018 sequel.

Production on Peyton Reed’s pint-sized actioner continues apace ahead of that all-important release date – July 6th for those keeping tabs – and over the weekend, HBO uploaded the above video from Night Of Too Many Stars that features Rudd in his new costume, giving us our best look at it yet. Retaining the same black/red color scheme as its predecessor, this is a much cleaner super-suit for Scott Lang, who gears up “alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.”

Those breadcrumbs will seemingly lead our miniature heroes on a quest to find Janet van Dyne, the original Wasp who slipped into...

HBO ‘Night Of Too Many Stars’ Sees Host Jon Stewart Spar With Stephen Colbert
The semi-annual Night Of Too Many Stars benefit to raise money in the battle against autism didn’t ignore other major problems, including the current wave of sexual harassment in Hollywood and politics. The program, held Saturday night at New York’s Madison Square Garden and televised live by HBO, had already bounced comedian Louis C.K. from appearing as a result of his admitted sexual misconduct with several women. Aware of the potential for distractions, host Jon Stewart…...

'Happy Gilmore' Reunion Video: Adam Sandler & Bob Barker Fight Again!
Adam Sandler
Adam Sandler's second movie after leaving Saturday Night Live was Happy Gilmore, which has grown a huge cult following over the years and helped launch the comedian as one of today's biggest box office stars. It is probably best remembered for an epic fight on the golf course between Adam Sandler and legendary game show host Bob Barker, which infamously ended with The Price Is Right headmaster declaring, "Now you've had enough...Bitch!" Well, that old grudge match is back on in a new video for the upcoming charity event Night of Too Many Stars: America Comes Together for Autism Programs, which airs on Comedy Central this Sunday, March 8.

Jon Stewart will host Night of Too Many Stars, which will raise money with Nyca (New York Collaborates for Autism) to support programs covering everything from the intensive education kids with autism needs at a young age to social training...

Watch: Conan Makes Ridiculous Pledge
What would the palest man alive look like covered in spray tan?

Conan O'Brien promised that if Comedy Central's "Night of Too Many Stars" raises $100,000 by Sunday night when the event airs, he'll do his show on Monday completely orange. He's not above these kind of stunts: He did a whole show wearing jeggings in 2010.

Although O'Brien's talk show is on TBS, not Comedy Central, the biannual benefit show is near and dear to O'Brien's heart. "Night of Too Many Stars" is the brainchild of Robert Smigel, who was the first head writer on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and continues to perform Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog.

Tune into The Night Of Too Many Stars on Sunday, October 21 at 8 p.m. Est. To get involved in the fight against autism, text Stars to 50555 and give $10 to support autism programs (full terms can be found...

How Much Would You Pay To Be Amy & Tina's New Bff?
One of the most popular auctions at Comedy Central's "Night of Too Many Stars" benefit was the chance to be the new best friend of upcoming Golden Globes hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for one night only. They raised an astonishing $72,000 (split between two women) to hang out with them for the night. And that was only the beginning: Tina, Amy and their new best friends had a truly memorable evening that involved meth, stabbings and a surprise wedding.

Check out a preview of the auction above, and tune into The Night Of Too Many Stars on Sunday, October 21 at 8:00 pm Et. To get involved in the fight against autism, text Stars to 50555 and give $10 to support autism programs (full terms can be found here).

Katy Perry at an event for Katy Perry: Part of Me (2012)
Watch: One Of The Best Things You Will Ever See
Katy Perry at an event for Katy Perry: Part of Me (2012)
There were a number of extraordinary moments during Comedy Central's Night Of Too Many Stars benefit for autism programs, but there was one in particular that drew tears from the audience rather than laughs.

The theme for the night was bringing together unlikely couples: Bill O'Reilly and Chris Matthews, Harvey Keitel and Carly Rae Jepson, Paula Dean and butter (well, unlikely now). But the most unexpected of them all was little Jodi Dipiazza, a young girl living with autism, and superstar Katy Perry. In a pre-taped profile on Dipiazza, the audience learned of her struggles with the disorder as well as how she began to find a way forward through music.

Following the video, Dipiazza, seated almost comically at an enormous grand piano, was joined on stage by Katy Perry for a duet of the star's hit song, "Firework." What followed was a performance that left not one dry eye in the theater.

Rock Rants For Charity Auction
Chris Rock at an event for Madagascar 3 : Bons baisers d'Europe (2012)
Chris Rock helped a scorned woman take revenge on her ex-boyfriend during a performance on Saturday night by calling his cellphone and blasting him with a foul-mouthed rant.

The funnyman was taking part in The Night Of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert in New York to help raise money for an autism charity.

And Rock helped bring in extra funds by auctioning off a bizarre prize - the chance to have the comedian "curse out" a former lover during the show.

An audience member named Desiree paid $20,000 (£13,333) for the honour and she asked Rock to call her ex-boyfriend, who she dumped for posting pictures on Facebook showing himself with another woman.

TV funnyman Jon Stewart dialled the number on a cellphone and handed the device to Rock, who fulfilled his promise by launching into an expletive-laden missive at the man, named only as Jeff, according to GossipCop.com.

Proceeds from the event were handed to the New York Center for Autism and the show will be broadcast on U.S. TV later this month.

Exclusive: Jon Stewart mocks Rick Sanchez
Jon Stewart
New York -- Jon Stewart and David Letterman joked about the Rick Sanchez controversy here Saturday evening as host of Comedy Central's "Night Of Too Many Stars."

CNN fired former anchor Sanchez Friday after he let loose on "The Daily Show" host and Jewish people in the media while appearing on the "Stand Up! with Pete Dominick" Sirius Xm radio show.

Stewart brought up the issue in his opening monologue to "Stars," which he hosted at Manhattan's Beacon Theatre.

In talking about how people should donate for autism education, for which the show raises money, Stewart said: "If you went on radio and said the Jews control the media...you may want to hold on to your money."

But if Sanchez was right about the Jews, Stewart also suggested, "All he has to do is apologize to us, and we'll hire him back."

The Sanchez topic came up again...
