    sigh, lets see...

well, where to begin? this game isn't bad, but its still not that great. the graphics are awesome, blows me away, and the actors for the voice overs sound like the actors. however, the new features, like the "on foot combat" is atrocious, way to sporadic and random. the flight is great, best in the series, but there just isn't enough of it, and the whole idea is kind of milked out. the co-op is good, adding a new challenge, the old rogue squadron 2 is in there, as well as a versus mode with a lot of fun to be had, i would rent this game if you had a friend over and play the co-op, but the single player is just to bad, if they had done something like battlefront for the on-foot combat, we would have a great game, however, they didn't, its a real shame, however the old arcade games are there to find and play, plus a lot of unlock able vehicles, however, that just doesn't do it for me, 6/10

Hardest of trio, but actually well worth your time.

While most say II is best (some say original), knowing this one's true greatness can make this one your fave. Everyone loves the multiplayer, three '80's arcade games based on original trilogy, bonus features similar to RL, and some of story campaign (i.k. The Jedi starfighter!). Biggest complain from most are the on foot missions, primarily the fact that your aim is locked on to one enemy at the time. Some also complained about constantly holding down R button for AT-ST missions, plus Jedi lightsaber segments not having a big enough role. Secretly a good thing because they make this the most complex of three (plus spinoff Battle for Naboo) and step up for a part III for game franchises ideally being most challenging. Also surprised there was criticism toward with stuck on shooting one foe because it truly helps with your shot accuracy for ace medals, even higher than gold. Similar to The Completionist's review on Star Fox Zero, which is heavily criticized for its on foot difficulty, he concluded, "Trust me. As soon as you get the hang of the controls all around, you're gonna love this!" Gave it a "fini-pete it" rating--equivalent to 9 if not a swell 10/10. Exactly how you will feel about this gem of a Star Wars game.

Best Star Wars game of the modern era!

Since Disney cancelled Patty Jenkins' Rogue Squadron here's my spoiler-free review of my favourite star wars games of the early 2000s Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III - Rebel Strike! As usual, I'll be talking about my thoughts, my childhood memories of playing this videogame & my conclusion/rating! This was an exciting and entertaining game to play, the voice acting is brilliant, the stories are interesting & intriguing, the vehicles were cool and epic to fly/ride & it was breathtaking! I played this videogame first on the GameCube then I had the saved transferred data on the Nintendo Wii. When my brother and I were kids our hands were so small that we couldn't press the buttons quickly so we had to get our Dad to help us out! Overall if you played this game back in the day like my Brother, Dad & myself then you've officially joined the rebellion after Disney fired Gina Carano that's why I'm giving this a 7/10! Hopefully, you can play this game and have fun may the force be with you! ;-)

    good but sometimes very bland

This game has a lot going for it, such as the co operative multi player of the original game! and some amazing graphics to boot. However the walking sections are just dam right terrible despite them being centred around familiar events in the original trilogy such as the death star. However they could and should have been so much better. Despite the walking and the AT ST levels the speeder bike was ace and me and my bro spent hours racing each other. On the whole a good sequel however the non flying levels do let this down (and the crappy attack of the clones level in the asteroid belt and on the ground) The inclusion of the original arcade games is also a nice touch

On the whole i would give this 3 potatoes out of 5
