The Best Western News Interview Show

It's a hard hitting, long form, fact & reality based, frank interview show. Only comparable to DW's "Conflict Zone" and Al Jazeera English's "Head-to-head" and "Upfront" It's a shame the BBC cancelled it.

The basis of the interviews is not about asking easy questions nor hearing the part of the argument you support.

It was hosted by one of the longest serving, most experienced international reporters and interviewers.

According to host Stephen Sackur: It had a reach of about 170 million people per week accounting for the three times a week it was broadcast on BBC World Service Radio and the global reach of what was formerly know as the World News Channel. However in the United Kingdom in recent years it was only broadcast between midnight and 4 am. This guaranteed a small audience but compared to other shows broadcast at the same time, it still had a higher audience.

I admire how the host(s) approaches each interview with facts not opinions. And counters each lie, misinformation or piece of disinformation while also letting the guests articulate their points and arguments.

Killed stone dead by Jordan Peterson

Didn't lay a glove on him. Even called JP "brittle" because JP got upset at someone who called his (JP's) friend a noble savage - a racial slur as the friend was a native American.
