    Worst movie of rajamouli

I am huge fan of rajamouli and ntr. I watched simhadri after watching his recent masterpieces. Simhadri was a big blockbuster when it released and made ntr a superstar. But after watching simhadri I felt very disappointed. The whole film is filled with cheesy melodrama and pathetic comedy. Villains are so cliched. I love bhramandam comedy but in this he's restricted to a boring sidekick. The second heroine track is vulgar in the beginning. But what annoyed me was rajamouli's representation of my place kerala. He showed my capital into some faction village in andhra. I wished he did some research about kerala. The so called mass build up scenes didn't work for me. And why hero is given another name singamalai? Whats wrong with simhadri? Ntr's underappreciated films like aadi and samba were much better and entertaining than this crap.

    Evergreen mass entertainer

First of all the plot was good at when it was making time period. As u can see many of the after and upcoming movies from ss Rajamouli are the base of this one. The hero hitting shots and a leader would not be made by hereditary but made himself as a leader these subtles are more discussed in this film. As of then it was a blockbuster and industry hit at that time.

Jrntr perfomance is just lit and it can be simply said that he played one of his best roles of his lifetime . This film made SSR a star director and ntr most profitable movie.

If you've haven't watched this. Make it comfortable do yourself a favour watch this.

    Decent action entertainer

Well , it was from the 2000s . So don't expect much and you will not get disappointed. This movie has action romance and everything that made it a good movie for me. I personally felt the songs were way too much for children but that fine. After I shut my brain this film kinda explored one of my fantasy of living a life my family doesn't know. Last fight was a bit brutal but the chubby protagonist made everyone laugh with the over-the-top action scenes. So skip all the scenes and watch the movie for action sequences. And If you want logic in the fights then don't even come near this film. I personally enjoyed it with my family and I hope you will too.

    Beginning days!!

Its a wonder to go back and see what genius Directors like SS Rajamouli have pulled off in their early days. The story is based on a one liner and he has pulled off all emotions through that. The actions are gravity defying as usual and romance is crap and songs have no place and appears incoherent - but that's the norm at those times.

You just wonder how skill and talent grows as one grow up in their career. The movie is such a blockbuster that it got remade in multiple languages. You don't remember anything and only wonder how the Director and actors have pulled off this script. Unbelievable movie!!

    • Trivia
Following his directorial debut Student No. 1 (2001), S.S. Rajamouli intended to helm a fantasy film starring Prakash Kovelamudi. However the high budget and the flop of the actor's first film, Neetho (2002), led to the project's demise and Rajamouli moving on to this film.
