Tony Todd, prolific actor and horror icon, passed away in 2024, leaving behind an impressive filmography full of memorable roles. Beginning with his first real Hollywood role as Sergeant Warren in Oliver Stone's Oscar-winning "Platoon," Todd then began his journey towards becoming a horror legend by playing Ben in Tom Savini's "Night of the Living Dead" remake — a major milestone on his path to playing the titular "Candyman" in Bernard Rose's celebrated 1992 supernatural horror film. He'd continue his run as a staple of the horror genre after that, ultimately becoming the personification of Death in the "Final Destination" film series.
But horror wasn't the only genre that Todd became known for. The imposing, six-foot five-inch star also made a name for himself in beloved sci-fi series, playing Kurn, the Klingon brother of Worf in both "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Deep Space Nine." In fact, Todd once...

When Roland Emmerich's "Stargate" made just short of $200 million on a $55 million budget, naturally there was talk of a sequel. In fact, Emmerich's modest 1994 sci-fi hit was supposed to kick off an entire "Stargate" film trilogy. But when the decision was made to move the franchise to the small screen, Emmerich turned down the offer to direct, citing episode budgets that weren't quite capacious enough for his ambitious vision.
Plans for a TV show went ahead anyway and in 1997, "Stargate Sg-1" debuted on Showtime. Co-created by Brad Wright and Jonathan Glassner, the series used the same premise as Emmerich's film and followed the eponymous crew's exploits as they explored alien worlds by passing through the Stargate portal. While the film had been a solid hit, the show went on to garner a cult following and spawned multiple spin-off series in the forms of "Stargate: Atlantis," "Stargate: Universe," "Stargate: Infinity,...

Christopher Judge's Teal'c of Chulak remains a fan-favorite "Stargate Sg-1" character to this day. Even if you've never seen "Stargate Sg-1," chances are that if you were around in the early 2000s you remember the image of Judge in full Teal'c makeup, complete with his golden forehead tattoo, as part of the cultural wallpaper of the era. Judge went on to appear as the character in two episodes of the spin-off series, "Stargate Atlantis," as well as the direct-to-dvd movies "The Ark of Truth" and "Continuum," cementing his status as a series-spanning "Stargate" legend.
Judge also pitched a "Stargate" spin-off that would have changed the franchise and was envisioned as, in the actor's words, "Stargate's take on 'Black Panther.'" As it stands, Teal'c's final appearance was in season four, episode 17 of "Stargate: Atlantis," entitled "Midway," which debuted the same year as "The Ark of Truth" and "Continuum.

When Roland Emmerich made his 1994 sci-fi adventure "Stargate," he likely never envisioned the sprawling media saga that would follow. In fact, after the film proved a modest success at the box office, there was talk of making a whole "Stargate" trilogy. Instead, Brad Wright and Jonathan Glassner took on the task of continuing the story begun by Emmerich. The pair oversaw "Stargate Sg-1," a TV show that launched in 1997 and revolved around the same team from the movie, following their exploits across the universe as they explore strange alien worlds using the Stargate portal. Kurt Russell might've refused to reprise his lead role as Colonel Jack O'Neill for the franchise's small-screen continuation, but Wright and Glassner had "MacGuyver" star Ricard Dean Anderson to help propel their series to success. Indeed, the show proved a cult hit, lasting for 10 seasons before the Sci-Fi channel (now SyFy) cancelled "Sg-1" in 2007.
But that...

Those unfamiliar with the franchise will be shocked to learn the sheer volume of "Stargate" media there is in the universe. The "Stargate" saga began in 1994 with the release of Roland Emmerich's ultra-slick sci-fi movie, a gigantic hit that really thrust Emmerich into the American mass consciousness. The 1994 movie starred James Spader and Kurt Russell as a scientist and a soldier (respectively) who begin dabbling with an ancient Egyptian portal that, they find, grants them instant access to distant planets. They find that Ancient Egypt was once lousy with space aliens, and that creatures from beyond the stars have been influencing human history for millennia.

"Stargate" was a surprisingly important sci-fi movie, all things considered. While the 1994 production from director Rolan Emmerich failed to get a sequel, it did serve as a launching pad for a surprisingly enduring franchise. MGM later decided to bring the concept to the small screen in 1997 with "Stargate Sg-1," a show that ran for 10 seasons and more than 200 episodes. While that undoubtedly resulted in a payday for the property's creators, Emmerich's "Stargate" movie co-writer, Dean Devlin, wasn't too pleased with the show.
In a 2019 retrospective with Variety, Devlin reflected on the "Stargate" film's legacy for its 25th anniversary. The piece revealed that MGM didn't want Emmerich or Devlin involved in the spinoff TV series, which was a source of tension. The studio "basically took it from us," Devlin said at the time. Stargate Sg-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate Universe all had some jaw-dropping twists and turns. Beginning with the 1994 Stargate film, the franchise centers around ancient alien devices called Stargates that allow instantaneous travel across the galaxy. The first show in the franchise, Stargate Sg-1, picks up about a year after the events of the film and follows Colonel Jack O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) and his team as they investigate various alien planets. Sg-1 consists of ten television seasons and two films, making it one of the longest-running science fiction shows of all time.
In Sg-1 season 7, the team discovers an ancient outpost in Antarctica that eventually leads them to the site of the mythical lost city of Atlantis. Located in the distant Pegasus galaxy, this ancient alien city becomes the setting for Stargate: Atlantis, which follows a team as they explore new planets and alien civilizations. It's been quite some time since "Stargate Sg-1" went off the air, with the beloved sci-fi series concluding its epic 10-season run back in 2007. Yet, the series — and really the broader franchise — has maintained a loyal following. Beyond having a massive, rich universe to explore, a big part of that has to do with the fact that audiences got to spend so much time with the characters over the years. 214 episodes worth in the case of "Sg-1," which was literally a world record at one time. One of those characters was Major General George Hammond, played by Don S. Davis. As fans are well aware, Davis stepped away from the show after season 7. But why did the actor leave, exactly?
Hammond was killed off in "Stargate Sg-1," though it's one of those universes where nobody is ever dead forever, it seems.

So much has changed since "Stargate Sg-1" went off the air in 2007. Its ten season run, which consisted of more than 200 episodes in total, feels unthinkable in the streaming era. Perhaps that's why the show still maintains a loyal following nearly 20 years later. Audiences got to know the cast very well, with Richard Dean Anderson leading the way as Jack O'Neil, replacing Kurt Russell, who had played the character in 1994's "Stargate" film. But it was truly an ensemble piece, and Michael Shanks' Dr. Daniel Jackson was a key part of that ensemble. So, why did such a core piece of the puzzle depart the series briefly right in the middle of its run?
Shanks was one of the show's main stars alongside the aforementioned Anderson, as well as Samantha Carter's Amanda Tapping and Christopher Judge's Teal'c. However,...

Stargate, much like Star Trek, explores strange worlds & civilizations through episodic adventures. Stargate characters, like Sg-1 team, are compelling & likable with dynamic relationships and arcs. Jason Momoa's standout film, Braven, is his highest-rated non-franchise action movie, according to Rotten Tomatoes. Despite being overshadowed by big-name franchise roles, Braven showcases an exceptional action performance by Momoa. Compared to the underwhelming Sweet Girl, Momoa's Braven offers a more engrossing and satisfying viewing experience with its solid plot.
With big-name film franchises populating Jason Momoa's acting catalog, it can be easy to miss out on some of the actor's standalone gems, which has become the case of a 2018 action thriller he helmed. Momoa has a history of doing it big in his career, securing early opportunities in popular TV titles like Baywatch (1999-2001), Stargate: Atlantis (2005-2009), and, later, Game of Thrones (2011-2012). Because of these notable roles, Momoa's film career throughout the 2000s largely fell through the cracks. Fortunately, Momoa's efforts as GoTs Khal Drogo shot him into another level of stardom, occasioning more pronounced movie breaks.

In director Roland Emmerich's 1994 sci-fi thriller "Stargate," a mysterious metal ring, about nine feet wide, is discovered in the remote ruins of Egypt. The ring is found to be a mysterious technology that, when arranged properly, can open a doorway to a distant planet. Actors like James Spader and Kurt Russell pass through the Stargate and find themselves on a distant alien world called Abydos. Everything in Abydos looks like ancient Egypt, and we soon learn that the Abydosians once used the Stargate to visit Earth, enslave humans, and set up ancient Egyptian culture. The villain of the film is Ra (Jaye Davidson), an ancient alien who uses human bodies to extend his life.
There's a lot of cool design and slick special effects in "Stargate," but the alien mythology isn't explored thoroughly enough. Like most of Emmerich's films, it makes big swings visually yet never emerges from the realm of corny melodrama.

Stargate's success led to a TV franchise rather than big screen sequels, allowing for more exploration of different planets and alien races. Stargate Sg-1 was the most popular entry and had a successful ten-season run, with Stargate: Atlantis as its first major spinoff. The Stargate timeline can be a bit confusing, but a user-friendly approach is to alternate between the later seasons of Sg-1 and the first three seasons of Atlantis. Some fans choose to skip the 2018 prequel Origins due to its lack of connections and questionable quality.
After starting as a movie, Stargate became a sprawling franchise, including several TV shows, but what are the Stargate movies in order and the TV shows that followed? Stargate's success led director Roland Emmerich down the path of increasingly expensive disaster movies like Independence Day and 2012. In hindsight, his 1994 sci-fi blockbuster starring Kurt Russell and James Spader is almost small-scale compared to his later work.

Stargate Sg-1 almost became "Stargate Command" post-season 8, but the original title remained. Season 8 ended with high viewership due to cast changes, leading to a shift in the feel of the show. Stargate Sg-1's departure from its core characters in seasons 9 and 10 marked a significant change in the series.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, but it's hard to imagine Stargate Sg-1 with a different title. The following contains major spoilers from CSI: Vegas Season 3, Episode 3, "Rat Packed," which debuted Sunday, March 3 on CBS.
One of the reasons that the original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation was so appealing was Las Vegas: a different setting than the usual New York or Los Angeles procedurals. Over the years, the show made excellent use of its Sin City location, and CSI: Vegas has largely done the same. Season 3, Episode 3, "Rat Packed," features a case that's firmly Las Vegas and would have worked perfectly as a classic CSI story, and that gets the season back on track.
At the same time, Marisa Tam's script offers up the final resolution to Josh Folsom's ongoing story arc -- at least technically. Folsom faces a review board to determine his future as a CSI, but the episode makes clear that their ruling is both a period on that sentence and a jumping-off...

Furlings remain a mystery in Stargate Sg-1, with assumptions about their appearance and abilities left unconfirmed in the series. The origin of Eden's obelisk in Stargate Universe presents a mystery as the aliens who built it are never shown or explored on screen. Stargate: Atlantis finale raises questions about the new location of Atlantis after it lands in the San Francisco Bay, a mystery left unresolved.

In addition to Freddy vs. Jason, where his character was felled by a flaming machete thrown by Jason during the cornfield rave sequence, Gauthier’s acting credits included 40 Days and 40 Nights, Insomnia, Agent Cody Banks, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, Dead Like Me, Riding the Bullet, Stargate: Atlantis, Masters of Horror (where he had a role in John Carpenter’s Cigarette Burns), The Butterfly Effect 2, Stargate: The Ark of Truth, Supernatural, Space Buddies, Watchmen, Harper’s Island, Sanctuary, Beyond the Black Rainbow, Iron Golem, Smallville, Continuum, Eureka, R.L. Stargate franchise storylines span decades, evolving from 1994 movie to animated & web series, and TV shows with unique concepts. Stargate Sg-1, the longest-running series, packed in humor, action, and heartwarming plotlines, earned an 88% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Stargate: Universe, despite a short run, impressed fans with new characters, dramatic cliffhangers, and comedic moments.
Every movie and TV show in the Stargate franchise brings plenty of sci-fi action to audiences, but they aren't all created equal. Getting its start in 1994 with the Stargate movie, the franchise grew to be so much more over the following decades. The idea of traveling from world to world through a ring-shaped gate, fighting alien races, and saving the innocent is nothing new, but Stargate did it with camp and style, introducing several fun concepts that make these stories a joy to watch. Ultimately, this and more is why these movies and TV shows have stood the test of time.

Stargate Sg-1 is full of gags and inside jokes that add a fun element to the serious sci-fi themes. Jack O'Neill's love for The Simpsons was inspired by Richard Dean Anderson and led to Simpsons references in the show. Stargate often uses "magnets" as a humorous way to explain nonsensical aspects of the story, adding to the campy sci-fi goodness.
There are hundreds of episodes within the Stargate franchise, and Stargate Sg-1 especially is full of gags and inside jokes that continue from beginning to end. The science fiction series was mostly serious in its themes, with parasitic alien races attempting to take over the galaxy, tragic deaths, and doomed relationships. Still, Stargate left plenty of room for fun. It's clear when looking at recurring props, references, and quirky character traits that the cast and crew enjoyed making the show just as much as we loved watching it. Noticing...

Stargate's "kawoosh" visual effect was created using an air cannon and water, making it difficult to replicate. A Stargate reboot should use the same visual effect instead of CGI to retain the franchise's loyal fan base. Recreating the effect would be risky due to the unpredictability of water variables.
Stargate's unstable vortex visual effect, nicknamed the "kawoosh," was created in a unique way behind the scenes. In 1994, the original Stargate movie came out, starting a vast franchise that includes three movies, four TV series, and one web series. This transmedia franchise is popular 29 years after the debut film due to Stargate’s powerful villains, strong world-building, and unique premise.
Five years after the last addition to the franchise, Stargate needs a reboot, ideally made by Amazon Prime. Like Star Trek and Doctor Who, the Stargate franchise is thematically relevant and appealing to modern audiences. Additionally, there is so much...

The Stargate franchise introduced a variety of powerful villains, including the Nakai, Michael, Ra, Apophis, Asuran Replicators, Anubis, Ba'al, Replicators, Wraith, and Ori. Each villain had unique powers and strengths that made them formidable adversaries for the heroes of Stargate Command. The heroes of Stargate Command, through their bravery and intelligence, always managed to find a way to overcome these powerful villains, although it often took great effort.
The heroes of the Stargate franchise faced many foes while protecting the planet, with some posing more of a threat than others. Enemies from other galaxies come in all shapes and sizes, so there was no telling who teams like Sg-1 would face next. Jason Momoa declares his love for Aquaman and acting while hosting SNL. Momoa's love for acting began when he returned to Hawaii and landed a role on Baywatch, leading toward his rise to prominence in shows like Game of Thrones and Stargate: Atlantis. Director Zack Snyder cast him as Aquaman because he was a fan of Momoa's performance as Khal Drogo on Got.
Jason Momoa is loving life. With the cessation of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strike, the actor made his second appearance on Saturday Night Live (SNL) as the show’s host. And Momoa declared his love for portraying the King of Atlantis in front of a live studio audience. Momoa said during his opening monologue (per SNL):

Stargate is full of intelligent characters, but not all of them are created equal in terms of traditional intelligence. Characters like Samantha Carter, Rodney McKay, and Daniel Jackson are considered the brainiacs of Stargate with their expertise in science and linguistics. Other characters like Ronon Dex, Ronald Greer, and Everett Young bring their own unique strengths and types of intelligence to the fight against the Goa'uld.

Don S. Davis, known for his role as General George Hammond, left Stargate Sg-1 after the seventh season due to health reasons, including diabetes and heart disease. Despite its popularity, attempts to revive the Stargate franchise have always fallen apart, making it difficult to replicate the chemistry of the original cast. Davis continued to make guest appearances as Hammond in seasons 8, 9, and 10 of Sg-1 and also appeared in Stargate: Atlantis. His final onscreen appearance was in the 2008 TV movie Continuum.
Don S. Davis' General Hammond was a key supporting player on Stargate Sg-1 for the first seven seasons, but why did the actor decide to leave? Most TV shows based on hit movies are doomed to failure, and in recasting the main roles or chopping up the story to fit the demands of an episodic approach, they often fall short. Stargate Sg-1 is the rare instance where the franchise soared because it moved to TV.

TV Fanatic had the pleasure of speaking with director David Winning about Hallmark's latest Fall Into Love feature, Field Day.
Winning has a long, successful string of Hallmark movies on his resume, but charming rom-coms weren't his first foray into directing.
Making his mark in the sci-fi genre, directing episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark, Stargate: Atlantis, and Van Helsing, his resume boasts a diverse array of productions that almost seem at odds with the heartfelt Hallmark universe.
So, how did Winning find himself so far from the sci-fi realm? We talked with him about that and much more in our exclusive interview.

Trip Tucker's death in "Star Trek: Enterprise" remains controversial among fans even 18 years after the show ended. The decision to kill off Trip in the series finale was seen as unnecessary and a creative blunder by the show's creators. Since the cancellation of "Star Trek: Enterprise," actor Connor Trinneer has had a successful career in other TV series and films but remains connected to the Star Trek franchise through conventions and a podcast with co-star Dominic Keating.
Commander Charles "Trip" Tucker III (Connor Trinneer) is one of Star Trek: Enterprise's most popular characters and Trip's death is still controversial 18 years after Enterprise signed off in 2005. Stargate Universe stars Robert Carlyle and Brian J. Smith have shared their thoughts on the possibility of returning for a series revival. The third television series set in the Stargate franchise after Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis, Stargate Universe followed an international team of explorers stranded on Ancient spaceship billions of lightyears away from Earth. Originally airing in 2009, the series was later dropped by Syfy after season 2 despite the season finale ending on a cliffhanger which saw the crew of the Destiny placed into stasis.

Star Trek and Stargate are two of the most prolific and beloved science fiction franchises, and it is no surprise that actors would overlap between the two series. Both Star Trek and Stargate had shows running throughout most of the 1990s and early 2000s, and many actors made appearances on both shows. Star Trek and Stargate often borrowed episode titles and even plots from one another. Each Stargate series follows a different team of adventurers as they explore various planets by traveling through a massive Stargate that was discovered in the ruins of Giza.
The Stargate franchise began with the Stargate feature film in 1994 and would continue with three television series and two made-for-television movies. The first of these was Stargate: Sg-1 (which concluded with two movies), followed by Stargate: Atlantis, and Stargate: Universe. With ten seasons, Sg-1 was the longest-running genre show until the CW's Supernatural claimed that honor with its fifteen seasons.

Jason Momoa is one of the most in-demand actors in Hollywood nowadays, from starring in the DC cinematic multiverse as Aquaman to taking on the villain role in "Fast X." But the actor's career trajectory could have gone in a radically different direction had he not made a bold decision roughly a decade ago. Long before Momoa was a household name, he actually backed out of auditioning for Drax in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy," with the role ultimately going to Dave Bautista. The film, as we know, became a smash hit and spawned an entire trilogy.
It seemed like a bad move at the time. Momoa was only just beginning to become a bigger name back then, his turns on "Baywatch" and "Stargate: Atlantis" having led to his role as Khal Drogo on "Game of Thrones" in 2011. That same year, however, he also starred in the "Conan the Barbarian" reboot,...

Jason Momoa has already shown that he can be a great hero in Aquaman, as well as a unique villain in Fast X, and now he proves that he could become the most famous vigilante in the comic books universe, Batman.
Momoa began his career in 1999 as part of one of the most popular franchises of the 80s and 90s, Baywatch. Had there been a sequel to 1994's Stargate, the franchise would have moved beyond Egyptian extra-terrestrials.
During an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, franchise producer and co-creator Dean Devlin discussed his and film collaborator Roland Emmerich's abandoned sequel plans for Stargate, as well as for 1996's Independence Day and 1998's Godzilla. The duo found so much mainstream success starting with Stargate that they planned to make a trilogy, with the second installment asking, "[W]hy are there pyramids in Mayan culture" and the third installment bringing the entire mythology together. "The third one was going to tie everything together," Devlin said. "We were gonna have the Yeti, we were gonna have the Loch Ness Monster. For the past year, since the deal closed in March 2022, Amazon Studios has been sifting through MGM’s library, identifying about a dozen initial titles for film and/or TV development, including Robocop, Stargate, Legally Blonde, Fame, Barbershop, The Magnificent Seven, Pink Panther and The Thomas Crown Affair.
We hear A-list creative auspices have reached out to inquire about adapting MGM IP which they are fans of. Additionally, Amazon Studios also has been leaning on its own roster of talent for some projects.
Each title is being approached differently — some are being steered toward film, some toward TV and some big ones are getting both movie and TV treatment.

Syfy's Z Nation was canceled after five seasons despite there being notable demand online for Z Nation season six. Before The Walking Dead, the idea of a zombie TV show becoming a major hit seemed unlikely. The zombie movie genre had been largely dormant when it was given a major shot in the arm with 2002's 28 Days Later and Resident Evil, and it wasn't long until the hordes were on the march again in every medium. The Walking Dead proved zombies and TV were a match made in heaven, and before long, more zombie shows, like Z Nation, emerged. Unlike The Walking Dead though, Z Nation season 6 and beyond never saw the light of day. So why was Z Nation canceled despite having a loyal fanbase?

An unproduced TV movie would have been a stronger ending for Stargate Sg-1's team. Stargate Sg-1 is by now arguably even more popular than the 1994 blockbuster that inspired it. Not only did it run for ten seasons, it also spawned several other shows, including Stargate: Atlantis - which introduced Jason Momoa's Ronon Dex - and the short-lived Universe. Considering how robust the Stargate TV saga once was, this makes the fact it has been trapped in limbo for over a decade all the stranger. While there are occasional reports of a possible revival of the brand, Stargate is currently no nearer to returning to the big or small screen.
In addition to Stargate Sg-1's ten seasons, it also received two straight-to-dvd movies: 2008's The Ark Of Truth and that same year's Continuum. While it wasn't planned that way, the latter ended up being something of a finale...

Warning: Contains Spoilers for Quantum Leap episode 11The Quantum Leap revival is full of subtle and not-so-subtle nods to other shows and cultural reference points, but episode 11 featured a Stargate Easter egg that even eagle-eyed viewers may have missed. The Raymond Lee-led vehicle has so far featured trips to the 1930s, outer space, and everything in between. And yet, despite the lead's time-traveling exploits, it's arguably in the show's smaller moments that it is at its strongest.
Quantum Leap episode 11's Stargate Easter egg is no exception. In a move that will delight fans of the famous sci-fi franchise, Quantum Leap season 1 introduced a new character with tangential ties to Stargate's legacy. While the connection may be more tenuous than other more explicit genre homages, it builds on a trend already firmly established in the reboot – using characters and character names to link both to the original show and other well-known franchises.

It really is time for another Stargate movie or TV series. In 1994, viewers stepped through the Stargate for the first time. It didn't take long for the movie to transform itself into a transmedia franchise, with spinoff TV shows Stargate: Sg-1, Stargate: Atlantis, and Stargate Universe, as well as several direct-to-dvd movies. Stargate Universe was canceled in 2010, and since then there's only been a single web-series that didn't really expand the story at all.
The Stargate transmedia franchise lasted an impressive 16 years, and it still has a committed fanbase today. Mdm has returned to Stargate many times, even hiring writer Brad Wright to pen a pilot for some sort of reboot or relaunch. Unfortunately this was disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic, putting the idea on hold. As Brad Wright noted on Twitter, "All the players have changed in the interim, so it's likely to gather dust." It was disappointing news...

One of the least surprising things about God of War Ragnarök's massive release this November is that Christopher Judge delivered another performance to remember as the former god slayer Kratos. Even though Ryan Hurst made waves with his portrayal of Thor in the game, it's Judge who was once again singled out for praise by many critics.
For many, Judge's distinctive baritone and powerful way of speaking will be familiar from his most famous television role as Teal'c of Chulak in Stargate: Sg-1. However, that's just a single highlight of the actor's long and successful career on the big and small screen.

Torri Higginson played Stargate: Atlantis' Elizabeth Weir, and she left under something of a cloud. The character of Elizabeth Weir was originally a crucial one for Stargate: Atlantis. She was positioned as the most direct connection between Stargate: Sg-1 and the new spinoff, which saw Weir take charge of an expedition that became stranded in the Pegasus Galaxy. Surprisingly, though, Weir became a secondary character after season 3 and was then written out - with Amanda Tapping's Samantha Carter making the leap from the freshly-canceled Stargate: Sg-1 to take charge of the Atlantis mission.
Higginson herself long seems to have been dissatisfied with the way her character was treated, feeling Weir deserved to be more than a recurring character. Speaking to GateWorld, she admitted she felt she was written out in part because the writers and producers had loyalty to the cast of Stargate: Atlantis' canceled sister show. "I don't judge them for it,...
