I truly can't convey why i loved this show. Words do not exist in the human language to describe why i watched it week after week (even getting a friend to tape it while i was in Ireland). It just had that special something. By the way don't think I'm a reality tv addict, as i LOATHE all the other ones.

The best thing reality TV has to offer us is a rather alarming insight into the cruelness of human nature. how we all strive to be top dog. we turn against each other, sometimes without a second thought. we look for faults in another and wait til they do something to us then we throw it in their face. we've all done it. Paradise Hotel displayed all these behaviors perfectly. I liked it cause #1-the guys were just soo hot. #2- I got to sit back & watch some sh*t go down without having to be part of it. We all love drama. Whether we admit it or not. Especially us girls. Its more of a "girly" type show. The only thing that sucked was the producers promising a Paradise return but they never went threw with it. Thank goodness I taped it way back in 2003! There is FINALLY a Paradise Hotel 2 returning to Fox Reality in Feb. 2008. Although, I predict it wont bring the same popularity as the very original first season.

You start to wonder what is going on with TV these days. When I look through the channels, 25 out of 30 are reality shows. There is reality tattoo shows, reality cup cake making shows, reality car restoration shows and the list goes on and on. WHO ARE IN CHARGE AND WHY DO THEY CHOSE TO BROADCAST THIS????? I wonder if it is an alien conspiracy or even worse, is it true that these shows are what people really want?
It makes me surf quicker and quicker through the list, like a swimmer trying to reach the shore before the shark gets me. And..finally I found something on Travel channel..Rick Stein making food somewhere in Asia. No, wait! There is his friend talking about what an ass hole he is that he fried the potatoes in stead of boiling them, and that he wants him to be voted out. And there is the blonde girl dissing his food, saying she only likes sushi. AhhhhhhhhhhhgggHHHH!!! The shark got me! I can't feel my leg! Blub..blubb...blubb.....

What's the matter writers? Running out of ideas so we're seeing more and more good programs cancelled for gimmicky crap? Pathetic.
This show was great 15 years ago. Paradise Hotel 2 is complete garbage. No great comp plays and no fascinating love connections.
The hostess is the absolute worst. The music is straight out of a Skinemax movie. The male voiceover is annoying and embarrassingly not funny.
I will be surprised if this show gets renewed.

This show is addicting. Once you watch it, you will never be able to get away again. You get so caught up in these people's lives on the show, that you start caring about them more than your friends and family and your family dog, will die, because you will forget to feed it, because this show is soo addictive. Well maybe not that much, but it is fun to watch adults act like they are ten years old again and to watch these people make out on live television and the girls are great eye candy, as well.

I thought that this show was great! I loved tuning in every week to find out what happened next. I was also pleased with the final result and can't wait to see the 2nd season. I loved all the contestants, some of them I loved to hate, but all in all, it was a good show. Very dramatic, and fun at times. I thought this show was awesome! By the way, they had some cute couples..... that's all I am going to say about that. PARADISE ROCKS MY WORLD!

Fox has outdone themselves yet again. This show is pure garbage. If you want to watch women who think way too much of themselves act spoiled, bitchy, children, and guys act like self centered, wimpy, whiny kids that can be led around by their hormones and not their brains, then this is the show for you. As long as America continues to watch this scripted "reality" junk, it won't go away. And this is the worst, most pathetic of that genre. Quit watching, and maybe this trash will go away, and the idiots on the show will realize that their fifteen minutes of fame is fifteen more than they deserved.

I am a kind considerate person, am a grandma love my kids and grandkids. There for it hurt me to see all those people act so mean to the final four, that was just heart wrenching. The producers should never have let this happen it went from so much fun to watch to Oh MY God please stop the abuse. I am sure the majority of the watchers felt the same way . Zack acted so terrible and so did Tony they were the two bullies and then there were more and more and more. Having these people on the show only made the show be more unappealing to me. There is no one that likes people like that. I thought that Keith was the only gentleman there he never lied to anyone and also Tara was another honest person she has so many chanes to say what was on her mind but instead she just sat there and nodded her head bravo for her she just did not want that kind of attention.
Xquisite.
Xquisite.
Who in their right mind would watch this garbage. Why would anyone want to watch a reality show where the most arrogant, self-centered people that you hated in high school get to go to a beautiful resort and hook up with each other. These are without a doubt the exact same people we all hated in high school, the ironic thing is that even though these people are in the mid to late 20's they still act like the a-holes in high school. It is crap like this that not only makes people hate reality shows, but also hate TV. How is it a game when there are no games to be played. The point is to hook up? This is what Fox executives think people want to watch. With all the good shows on TV that people don't watch why would they think we would watch a bad show? Man its hard for me to even put into words just how bad this show is. I hope that not one of the people who were on the show gets any level of celebrity because of it.

Im surprised people watch this sorry excuse for a show. Hell I was flipping through the channels and watched ten minutes of this crap(which I want back BTW), and I felt physically ill. I wish everyone on the show would just drop dead(they are all rich kids who think life is soooo hard for them....cry me a river).
I will be very glad when this fad(yes its a fad for those who actually like this type of s#$%) is done with and buried, so that we can watch entertaining shows that actually are fun to watch.
Btw, I just want to say how much I hate the Fox network now for pushing away loyal fans of great shows (Family Guy) to make clear for these brainless marketing shows. I guess Fox isn't interested in making quality programming anymore.

I have been watching this show and I have even watched the re-run of it. I have to say it gets better every time. First of all Keith is the only one who should have won this as he was most sincere to the people he was cool with. In the end it turns out that they were not that sincere to him. Tara was dissing him on the radio show and others are talking crap about him. When he was in the running to come to paradise hotel he was cool with everyone but then Zack said something about having washboard abs to get into PH and Keith showed him his abs after that Zack made it a personal Vendetta. Which Keith won!! I wish I knew Keith so that if Zack would come with those fantasy 50 guys of his we would kick some ass!! Anyway good luck to Keith Furthermore I just wanna say that it seemed as-if it was the Zack and Amy show as everyone was trying to keep them on the show. I am just glad they did not win. All the other characters except Keith and bitch Charla were just ass kissers to Amy and Zack.
Keith you rule and to hell with anybody who does not agree with me!! Peace up!!

Paradise Hotel is a show you can sleep to, in fact, it's a show you can skip out on. The process goes like this: 5 men of the opposite sex pair up with 5 of 6 women, or the reverse order, and a person is being kicked out of the hotel for good. Off to the LA studio where never raspy, English like Anne Robinson host Amanda Byram mingles with 2 contestants chosen from the audience, site or wherever, and talks about what the new person knows. Then, the hotel guest chooses the person and off to the hotel the new person goes, and they make love, talk, do something weird, and it goes on and on and on and on...I wish it was Off the air forever!!! Let me take a nap...zzz...zzz...zzz...zzz...
I downright loathed this show. But for some reason, I kept watching it each week. Half the time I couldn't follow all the characters and all the new ones they were introducing. And, for awhile, I felt as though the show would continue into eternity because the idea behind it was just so grueling and continuous...as soon as someone gets kicked off, someone new comes on. I heard they were continuing the show into a second season, but I think they reconsidered because it didn't really do that great in the ratings. Oh well. I don't think anyone is really hardcore missing this show. It was typical FOX fare--Reality TV so bad that it's just so freaking good.

I am obsessed with this show. I dont EVER miss it. Its just one of those shows though, that if your not into it then your NOT into it. Some shows you just get hooked on and this is one of them. I personally have always related to Charla and the Charla/Keith/Dave/Tara alliance...well one of them had better win - thats all I gotta say! I saw one person who said that they thought this show was so boring but like I said, with this show you either love it or you hate it. I personally love it and can't wait to see how it ends!!!

This is and was the best reality show ever...Good music, great cast and awesome hostess...The cast changes so slowly, that you feel like you know each one of them...And they keep you guessing what the ultimate prize is...Alot of twists the last few weeks and it builds up to the ULTIMATE PRIZE. Looking forward to PH2.

I'm afraid I became addicted to the show. Some truly unpleasant characters. Surely, there will be a reunion show, and I'm afraid I'll be sure to watch it. Charla, Dave, Toni, Beau - quite a group.
I hardly ever watch "reality" shows - but this one got me hooked.

I think this show is much better than most of the new reality shows on TV today. I watch because I was curious and know I watch all of the time because just to see where it's gonna go next. With all of the twists it will keep you there watching. They don't play all the stupid games like the reality shows but have interesting plots as the couples try to hook up. Watch it and see!

Paradise hotel is about 11 sexy singles that are living at an exclusive hotel for the summer. the only rule of the hotel is hook-up or go home. OK i admit, the first night i sat down to watch this, it looked pretty stupid, but that was because nobody had stabbed anyone in the back yet! when people start making up lies about each other at the hotel, thats when things get good. I've been watching this show for about 4 or 5 weeks now and it only gets better as it goes on. Every week someone gets kicked out then a member of the opposite sex is invited onto the show. The people of the hotel have been forming cliques now and things are beginning to turn ugly. I dont wanna give away the whole show but ill say this, u hafta see it to believe it!!!
id give it 9/10 stars
