While shooting for the film Rekha gave hard times for Tahir Hussain.This delayed the film for years and he faced huge losses which didn't go well with Aamir Khan.Few years later Rekha and Aamir Khan were working in the film Time Machine where he wanted director Shekar Kapur to replace her with another actress.But the film got shelved after few reels.
