For most Twilight fans, the question over what happened to and will become of Midnight Sun, Stephenie Meyer's partially completed draft of Twilight from Edward Cullen's perspective, has been raging on for years. While promoting the upcoming release of her other own book-to-screen adaptation, The Host, in the United Kingdom recently, Meyer finally spoke up about the thing everyone's been dying know. View slideshow: Stephenie Meyer To the BBC, she explained how that incomplete draft which popped up online and led to her shutting down the project altogether came around. "You know, that really wasn't a digital issue," she said. "At first, it was quite scary because I had had ....

Love: Black Beauty (High Moon)
Black Beauty is a previously unreleased album from 1973 produced by Paul Rothchild (producer of the Doors, among others); the label went out of business before it could be issued. Given that the band's best songs were written by Bryan MacLean and Burt Bacharach, I wasn't expecting much from something from 1973, by which point MacLean was long gone and Arthur Lee was the only original member.
I suppose that while some fans could protest that Black Beauty is not really a Love album, that's fine with me. It's an all-black band led by Lee, in the context of which he frequently indulges his love of Jimi Hendrix ("Midnight Sun" makes this particularly obvious) and gets a little funky -- both for the better.
Surprise! I like it more than any of Love's other albums. I'm aware that that will be a minority opinion, but I've never...

Dear Twilight fans,
Well, this is it, guys. Twilight as we know it is ending. On Friday, the final movie will be out, the cast will be done promoting the films, and we’ll all be crying into our popcorn buckets wondering where the last five years have gone. I thought I was totally coping with all of this, but then I started listening to “Possibilities” by Lykke Li and my body began to tremble. All the anticipation, the excitement, the endless conversation and speculation and frantic, passionate Love…where does it go now that Twilight is over?! I don’t know the answer to this yet, so I’m detailing the 10 Things I Will Miss Most About Twilight in this here post as I try to process all these goddamn feels. And oh, how many feels there are!

At a press conference to promote The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2, author Stephenie Meyer suggested that she might add more books to her Twilight world. Naturally, we’ve compiled 10 story lines we’d love to have Meyer continue. Click below to see our list. (Slight spoilers ahead!)
10. Leah’s story
Leah got shafted in Breaking Dawn. Yes, she’s in Jacob’s pack and away from the heartbreak of Sam and Emily, but she still hates the Cullens, and now she’s bound to them because of Jacob and Renesmee. Give this girl something better to do than sulk.

Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga series has landed at number twenty-seven on NPR's 100 Best-Ever Teen Novels of all time list. The list was reportedly formulated through more than 75,000 user votes, topped by J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games. The Twilight Saga includes more than just the original four books - Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn; Meyer has since added The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella and The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide to the series, and artist Young Kim created Twilight: The Graphic Novel - Volume 1, Twilight: The Graphic Novel - Volume 2 and will soon release New Moon: The Graphic Novel - Volume 1 on October 30th. Despite apparent rumors that Meyer will release the original fifth Saga installment Midnight Sun (Twilight from Edward Cullen's perspective, essentially), this has not been s ...,...

Stephenie Meyer Midnight Sun: the unfinished Twilight book to be completed? Stephenie Meyer may or may not finish Midnight Sun, the Twilight book that allows readers to follow the story through the eyes of vampire Edward Cullen. (Photo: Robert Pattinson as Edward in Eclipse poster.) A few years ago, Meyer had been working on Midnight Sun when she discovered that her unfinished manuscript had been leaked online. She gave up on the novel at that time. Earlier today, a Twilight fan at Comic Con 2012′s Breaking Dawn Part 2 panel asked Stephenie Meyer if she intended to return to Midnight Sun. After joking that [...]...

The panel for Breaking Dawn - Part 2 has just come to a close and all the key players were in attendance. Of course the trio, Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson), and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) were there as well as series creator Stephenie Meyer. The Cullens were all in attendance, including Kellan Lutz who was remarkably handsome in his deep tan. Though it's not surprising he looks good tanned, we've just become so used to seeing him as a very pale vampire.
One of the more interesting answers of the afternoon came from Meyer who was asked if she planned to complete Midnight Sun, the story of the novel Twilight told from Edward's point of view. Meyer replied that she is burned out on vampires, but joking suggested that Pattinson write it. What we love about that response is that it leaves her wide open to write about werewolves or...

Stephenie dishes on the status of the new 'Twilight' book 'Midnight Sun' and when you'll get to read it! Find out all the details! Stephenie Meyer has always hoped to release the fifth book in the Twilight Saga, but the author has finally revealed details on the book's status while appearing at the 2012 Comic-Con panel for Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2! Midnight Sun would have been a companion novel to Twilight -- a retelling of the events of Twilight, but written from the perspective of Edward Cullen as opposed to that of Bella Swan. Unfortunately, Stephenie's partial draft of Midnight Sun got leaked illegally in 2008 and turned her off from ever releasing it. When Josh Horowitz asked Stephenie if there's been any development on the fifth Twilight book Midnight Sun, Stephenie said, "Nothing’s changed. It’s been ten years of vampires." Apparently, Stephenie is tired of vampires and...

The "Twilight" series has not yet had a stake through its heart. The fourth installment, "Breaking Dawn Pt. 1" was as big as ever, and the fifth, "Breaking Dawn Pt. 2" is still five months from release with a new trailer is set to debut on Wednesday. It's still a major cash cow for Summit (recently acquired by Lionsgate for $400 million, with the franchise as the crown jewel of the buyout), even as the parent studio's "The Hunger Games" has arguably eclipsed it in returns and press of late.
But the trouble is, that stake is a comin': Stephenie Meyer wrote a definitive end to her four-book saga, and once the last film hits in November, there's no more material to adapt. At present, at least, there are no more "Twilight" books, and no way of continuing Bella and Edward's story. The cash cow is running dry. The goose is no longer laying golden eggs.

Hyde Park Entertainment and Image Nation Abu Dhabi are set to finance and co-produce Arctic family adventure feature "Midnight Sun" which begins shooting in Canadian Arctic and Manitoba in November.
Set amongst the ice fields of Northern Canada, the story follows a young boy who defies the dangerous elements of nature to reunite an abandoned polar bear cub with its mother.
At first he's aided by a half Inuit/half Canadian who knows the terrain, but they are soon separated on the floating ice of the high Arctic with the boy and cub braving bear attacks, giant icebergs, and vicious windstorms.
Hugh Hudson ("Chariots of Fire", "Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan") helms from a script he co-wrote with Bart Gavigan. Jake Eberts, Brando Quilici and Ashok Amritraj will produce.

Every year, the five major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, The CW, Fox and NBC) order pilots to be considered for the fall season. A pilot, as you may know, is the first episode of a TV series and the final step in a long development process from idea to screen.
From the 87 drama and comedy pilots ordered this year, a new crop of television shows will be selected -- and I read the scripts for each and every one of them. Over the course of this week, I'm walking you through the network's pilot slates, offering a bit of analysis on their present schedules and providing you with a rundown of the drama contenders. (Plus, a little bit of info about the comedies, too.) Of course, not all of these shows will find their way to your TV set -- in fact, most of them you may never hear of again.

Robert Pattinson has ruled out a return for new Twilight films following reports that the story is set to continue.
RPatz believes he will be too old to play Edward Cullen, the lover of Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan, and has moved on from the role to other projects.
Talk of continuing the vampire romance series beyond final instalment Breaking Dawn has been going on since June 2009.
At that time, producers said they would consider the possibilities and the demands of the audience, in the light of suggestions of a spin-off focusing on the Volturi - the law enforcers of the vampire world.
The talk resurfaced in January this year. The chief executive of Lions Gate Entertainment, which had just acquired Twilight studio Summit Entertainment for $412.5million, said he believed the story had plenty of life left in it yet.
