Woh Main Nahin (1974)

Trivia

Woh Main Nahin

Edit
The film was based on a man named "Kazi" who was frauding several women.
Mohan Segal removed Rinku Jaiswal from the film . This was due to Rinku being uncomfortable with some revealing scenes. Asha Sachdev replaced her.
Navin Nischol and Mohan Segal had a very bad falling out after the film. Many suggested that success had gone to Navin's head and he started asking for more money from Mohan Segal. Navin denied this and stated it was the middlemen who created the confusion between both of them. He always respected Mohan Segal. Navin always tried to talk to Mohan about the problems but it never worked out. Plus Main Woh Nahin flopped and he understood Mohan's behavior would now change towards him.
The movie is based on Marathi play 'To mi navhech' written by Prof. Acharya Atre (Pralhad Keshav Atre)
Mohan Sehgal cast Padmini Kapila in the film as he was inspired with her acting in previous film Intezaar (1973).
