Summaries

  • U.S. Army sniper Charlie Snow finds himself at the other end of the crosshairs when the brother of an Eastern European arms dealer whom he killed decides to take vengeance on Charlie and his family in L.A.
  • A desolate region near Turkey. A military vehicle filled with crates of surface-to-air missiles is traveling along the dusty road. Suddenly a small group of Eastern European militia start to hijack the vehicle. Perched high on a hillside overlooking the scene is Charlie Snow (Stephen Baldwin), an American Special Forces "sniper." When Charlie sees the hijacking, he shoots three of the hijackers. However, Yevon, the leader, gets away and vows to avenge the loss of his people to the American sniper. Charlie escapes when an American helicopter swoops in and whisks him away. Two weeks later, Charlie Snow is back in Los Angeles, reunited with his wife and two children. After taking his children to school, Charlie is walking across an LA city park when someone at a pay phone booth says there is a call for him. Charlie grabs the phone receiver to find Yevon on the line, somewhere nearby. Yevon tells Charlie that his wife has been taken hostage, and if Charlie doesn't cooperate his wife will be killed. Charlie must not phone the police or any authorities. Suddenly a bullet explodes into the phone booth, barely missing Charlie, but proving Yevon's point. Now we are engaged in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse as Charlie must flee while being shot at in the middle of Los Angeles, while Yevon who has come to Los Angeles with accomplices, pursues Charlie. Charlie does enlist the help of Nolan, an operator of satellite surveillance in Washington D.C. who is able to scan satellite intelligence photos to locate where the villains are located. Charlie also enlists the help of Donovan, an older retired CIA agent, to be a spotter for him. A series of action scenes ensue before Charlie finds out that his wife is being held hostage in a large old abandoned jail beside the Los Angeles river. Charlie and Donovan must prepare an assault on this building in an effort to stop Yevon and save his wife. In a climatic, final confrontation, Charlie faces off with Yevon with high-powered rifles in a perilous shootout, determined to stop Yevon and his men at all costs.—Anonymous
