Gross out is about three siblings that have to make a tape so gross that it makes Mama Wheezer vomit. They have to do this to get their inheritance. I did get a few laughs out of this film. For instance, Rochester made me laugh with some of his lines. This film is very poorly made. I believe this film was made for $25,000 and looks like it was made for $3,000. Gross Out is clearly inspired by Pink Flamingos. However, Pink Flamingos was made for $10,000 and looks considerably better than Gross Out. It could also be that John Waters is a much better writer and director.
The props in the movie are awful. The worst being the c*m that Rochester puts on Mama Wheezer's face. It looks like bread dough.

This Looks more like a film project for college. The cover doesn't tell you any of the story, obviously because there is not much there. The plot centers on a disgusting, demented, wealthy mother of three adult children telling them that the only way they will get her inheritance of 28 million is if they make a gross, disgusting movie so bad it would make her vomit. This is hard to do based on the fact that she herself is the epitome of obscene. The three kids team together to make a movie, putting in all kinds of sick filth you can imagine (or not imagine).
The only reason I am giving it a 3 is for some of the more comedic moments, like with the character of Rochester or the mom. Overall the movie is really bad, with low budget effects and obscene disgusting sexual and potty humor/gags. The film really is about grossing you out in one way or another, however it tends to fall short of that with a low budget. Maybe one or two parts I found disgusting, nothing as serious as for me to vomit.
I didn't really find myself grossed out as much as I found myself seeing through the obvious special effects. Rent it and watch it (don't buy it) so you can say that you did.

Grossout set out to do exactly what it does its disgusting and over the top. John Waters would be proud, Film features cult actors Carl Crew, Dino Lee, Scarlet Fry and more and a lot of the people from Blood Diner fun film. It was shown as a midnight movie in Los angeles before going on tour. Barf bags were given out upon entry and appaantly some patrons actually used them. I think this fact makes this a great film it commanded a reaction and was unapologetic. Now available on home video this film is great for parties and frat house hazing if you can make it through it, i would watch it on an empty stomach to avoid vomiting,
