Bappi Lahiri talks Mc Hammer and Will to Live
Best known for pioneering the use of disco music in Bollywood films, composer Bappi Lahiri has contributed to some of the biggest films in Hindi cinema. The music director has also been sought after to do several prestigious international projects. His latest compositions are for the Indo-American film titled Will to Live. Not many Bollywood fans will know that the Indian theatrical rights and all other rights of Robot, superstar Rajnikanth's Hindi dubbed version of Endhiran, are with Gemini Circuit.Given the fact that Rajnikanth is a huge star for the Hindi audience too and even his insignificant films like Mahaguru, Gangva, Tyagi etc. were profitable ventures, Gemini has sold of the film distribution rights to different distributors at good to decent prices. And here are the exclusive details.As per trade sources while Shringar Films have the rights for Bombay territory, Mukta Arts has procured Robot for Delhi-u.P. and East Punjab. Eastern Circuit is with Venkatesh Films and Robot will be distributed by 52 Weeks Entertainment in C.P. Berar, by Red Sun Enterprises in C.I. and in Rajasthan A.A. Films hold the rights.Robot is all set to release in the above mentioned circuits on 1st October.
