The one of the most underrated movie

This one is one of the most underrated movie in Malayalam cinema. Specifically the performance by jayaram is not the one which is most talked about.

Work of art

This is a very underrated film in my opinion. It is a work of art. Music, theme, script, choreography.. take your pick and the film have excelled in it. Narendra prasad have played his part to brilliance. Even though Suresh Gopi, Geetha and Maniyanpilla Raju have done equally well, it is Jayaram that steals the show. Man, what a performance! The scene in which Jayaram walks into darkness while Maniyanpilla Raju sings 'Seethakalyana' shall remain in my memories forever! As for alternate beliefs, more than driving one into blind theism, what this film serves to do is to make us wonder if outright atheism is any different from blind theistic believes. It makes us think, shouldn't we be searching for truth before we reject it's very existence. If you haven't watched yet, don't think twice, just go at it already!

One of the greatest movies of all time

Jayaram Nade is one of the most beautiful films of the year, and hence he has also been unable to remake from the best of Malayalam movies.

Jayaram, Suresh Gopi, Narendra Prasad and Geetha are doing well in the film, while the film is going to come to an end and the beauty of the cinema is the beauty of the cinema.

The fact that life takes place in fact gives us a glimpse of the fact that the picture goes to the reality of the society and the confrontation between faith and faith in God

Outstanding!!

One of the best movies ever made in Malayalam cinema history. Where heritage or tradition breaks there will be the destruction. The actors performance is marvellous, especially Naredraprasad as Devadathan Chemmathiripadu. Kaloor Denis wrote a righteous script. I think this is one of the most underrated Malayalam movies, it delves into the culture and the system that existed in Kerala in days gone by. Religion was created with good intention. Humans have a tendency to be evil, therefore, early philosophers must have created religion to make people believe that someone is watching over them. Worth watching.
