Wow, almost forgot about this one. This was the AM raw of yesteryear.
WWF Mania ran from 1992 to 1996. The show used to air at 10 am, Saturday mornings on the USA network. It would usually feature a condensed recap of Monday Night Raw with Todd Pettingill doing hosting duties.
Todd Pettingill was the single worst on air personality ever. I said it. I could not stand the guy, except for his mullet which was of the Nascar variety. But i'd sit thru Todd Pettingill's shenanigans to catch the action of the day. I watched a lot of the New Rockers, the Bodydonnas, people losing they're smiles, a lot of things. Mostly replays of matches and interviews from Monday night Raw.
Was not bad to wake n bake to.

Below is in My opinion and a brief description of the program.
I always watched this WWF show every Saturday morning. On Saturday mornings I'd watch WCW Power Hour on TBS and then an hour later I'd watch this program WWF Mania on the USA Network. The program was really a recap show with newcomer host Todd Pettengill which he later became a veteran commentator a few years later. He'd be in the studio talking about wrestling headlines and then showing the footage and other matches from previous shows. The show was also co-hosted by The Macho Man Randy Savage and Stephanie Wyant. The crewmen would also have a brief conversation with Pettengill. Even though the show had the same things on that you saw the previous week it was still very exciting. WWF Mania also had interviews. One thing that I thought was so neat was when Giant Gonzalez came to the WWF he was in the studio and Todd Pettengill was going to talk to him and apparently Todd interrupted the Giant's breakfast and he went nuts on Todd. Gonzalez's breakfast was a giant salad which the bowl was several feet wide. This show was one of the WWF's best and its a shame that wrestling shows like this doesn't existed anymore and I am saying this because I'm from the old school. If you are able to watch this show in any way do it because it was a special one. Thanks for reading!
