The film opens with a statement that writer/director/actor Vin Crease made the movie in 1972, but refused to allow it to be seen and killed an executive producer over this issue. The statement goes on to state that this film was finally being released 30 years later. While the film has the look of a 70s film, some of the actors were born after the alleged 1972 filming dates and their careers didn't start until the 1990s or later. So the whole opening statement appears to be a fiction.
