Hanks stars alongside Stephen Graham and Elisabeth Shue (The Boys) in Greyhound, the 2020 WWII epic following an inexperienced Navy commander who is tasked with leading his convoy against a dangerous German submarine wolf pack. Greyhound is streaming exclusively on Apple TV+, and the film is still in the top 10 in more than 50 countries around the world, including the United States. The film debuted with a strong “Certified Fresh” 78% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and a 76% on that audience-driven Popcornmeter, and it did not report any box office earnings.

The most recent episode, "The Good Shepherd," proved to be an average but nonetheless entertaining hour focused on Benjamin Levy Aguilar's Richard Torres. There are some One Chicago characters that are overlooked more than others. We’re taking a look at the six that deserve a little more love from the writers, across Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago Pd.

Let’s face it, Chicago Fire can sometimes become the Stellaride show. There has been a push to offer Violet and Ritter more storylines, but there is always a lot of focus on the two lieutenants in the firehouse. That’s not to say we’re complaining—we love them! However, there are others at Firehouse 51 who deserve more love and attention.

In many ways, Chicago Pd has done a better job of attempting to flesh out its newer characters than they’ve done over the years with some of the established ones.

Chicago Pd is always the darkest of the One Chicago shows. It deals with crime, corruption, and, well, murder, so it only makes sense that it skews less comical than, say, the firehouse scenes in Chicago Fire. Even we were surprised by how dark things got during the episode "The Good Shepherd."

The episode revolved around a juvenile detention centre that's known for running a tight ship. A teen who was supposed to be at the centre turns up dead, and Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar), an ex attendee at the centre, decides to go undercover.

Torres knows how strict the people in charge of the centre can be, and goes about determining who was behind the death of the aforementioned teen.

Chicago Pd's12th season recently thrilled fans of the long-running procedural with "In the Trenches: Part III," the final part of a crossover with Chicago Fire and Chicago Med. It was a climactic event that brought the worlds of the three shows together, and Chicago Pd isn't giving audiences a chance to catch their breaths. In this one, we've got new spoiler scoops for the next, new episode 12 of this current season 12, which is due to hit your TV screens tonight, February 5, 2025. We were able to track down an official teaser description for one of episode 12's main storylines straight from the NBC people via their official episode 12 press release synopsis. So, we will certainly break it down for you right now. Let's get to it. For starters, there is an official title for this new episode 12. The writers decided to name it, "The Good Shepherd." It sounds like episode 12 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic, action-filled and suspenseful scenes.

One Chicago made some notable changes to its schedule for the January 29 crossover event. The regular order of shows was switched around, so that Chicago Fire kicked off the action instead of airing second, behind Chicago Med. Chicago Pd, as always, held down the third and final time slot.

This change proved confusing to some fans, especially those who were tuning in expecting to see Med, only to see Fire characters interacting with people from the other shows. Chicago Pd had an excellent showing in the One Chicago crossover. Characters like Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) got plenty chance to shine. We even got some a subplot involving Trudy Platt (Amy Morton).

The three-part event did an excellent job of incorporating the police drama into a larger framework. One character, however, seemed out of place. Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar), the officer who arguably spearheaded Pd's fall finale, was barely a factor in the crossover event.

These are the first new installments following the One Chicago crossover event.

NBC viewers loved seeing a fresh crossover for the first time since 2019, and the event kept the action going for three hours.

Luckily, all the main characters survived, despite Trudy Platt nearly dying from her gunshot wounds.

Stella Kidd from Chicago Fire and Adam Ruzek from Chicago P.D. were also rescued from the subway before they ran out of oxygen.

The near-death experiences could impact these characters as the shows continue this winter and spring.
