Hunting for the Hag begins with Tara sitting across the table from a rather sceptical lawyer who keeps telling her the footage on her laptop won’t help her out of the mess she’s in. She reminds him that he was the one who contacted her, and if he doesn’t actually watch the footage, or she’s leaving.

The footage also begins with Tara, noticeably lacking the facial scar she had in the opening scenes, introducing herself as we find out that she, along with her friends Beth and Candy are setting out to get footage of the entity known as The Hawthorne Hag (Nathan Brandon Gaik; Dead Bodies Everywhere).

You know what I always missed when I watched Parks and Rec and The Office? Dead Bodies. I always thought, "Man, if only this took place at a funeral home." Well, it looks like my prayers have been answered, because that's just what Jamie Lee Curtis has started working on with CBS.

The project is called Quality of Life, and it is planned to be a multi-cam comedy in the same vein as Parks and Rec and Modern Family. I think that a funeral home has a lot of untapped potential. I mean how many comedies take place there? After Scream Queens was canceled after the second season, this will give Curtis a great comedy outlet. She has proven herself in the world of comedy in the past couple years in my eyes.

Watching Baywatch, the R-rated reboot of the long-running '90s primetime soap, I finally understood how doctors and lawyers must feel when they watch TV, how difficult it is to focus on plot when your chosen profession is being depicted wildly irresponsibly. Having guarded lives throughout my teenage years, I must ask: are any of these people even CPR certified?! (Dead bodies do occasionally just wash ashore, though. That is true.)

Anyway, Baywatch revolves around "Lieutenant" Mitch Buchannon (Dwayne Johnson, taking on David Hasselhoff's small screen namesake), a lifeguard so proficient at his job that he knows when an accident is going to happen before it even happens, and his newest trainee: Matt Brody (Zac Efron playing, essentially, Ryan Lochte, had he attempted to rehabilitate his post-Olympics image by lifeguarding instead of Dancing With the Stars).

Things have picked up considerably on this season of the Walking Dead after the highly debated episode “Claimed” last week in which we saw the survivors deal with a more real world threat than that of the walking dead itself. While discussing last week’s episode with friends, I found a lot of people surprisingly split with a majority feeling that there wasn’t enough action. As mentioned from my “Claimed” review, I found the episode extremely heart pounding as Rick tried desperately to evade the marauders during their raid on the house. The heart pounding intensity was some of the best on the entire run of the show as I find the constant search for survival and protection to be the true tone.

“Still” starts off with Beth and Daryl stranded in the wilderness together, wondering if they are the only two survivors left from the prison.

Fox renewed two of its veteran shows, “Bones” and “Kitchen Nightmares,” on Wednesday. The upcoming seasons with be the tenth for the former, and the sixth for the latter. “Bones” will shift to Monday nights beginning on March 10. This coming season, the drama will reach its milestone 200th episode. The network also said on Wednesday that sci-fi drama “Almost Human” will come to the end of its original 13-episode run on Monday, March 3. The future of the J.H. In the running for a spot in the ABCs of Death 2, this short film, M Is For Monkey is written and directed by Corey Nikolas. The film stars Derek Rombeiro as Mape and Tania “Mrs. Bunnies” Orlando as Sarah.

The film opens with Sarah dressed in a banana suit handing out fliers for a local business. She is spotted by Mape, who we soon discover is a serial killer. Mape loves bananas and wears a monkey mask when committing his crimes. Sarah becomes his next unfortunate victim—just one of a few already—and Mape has an interesting method of murder.

One thing that stands out is that there is no dialogue. None is necessary. M Is For Monkey conveys its story quite successfully with visuals alone. Rombeiro is convincing as Mape, the menacing figure obsessed with...

I’m also glad for some forward motion with this story, which was stalling for the past few weeks, and is something this show often does. Though I suspect it’s not going to go well between Lari and his father given that Illkea thinks that Elias ‘converted’ his son. My guess is that Lari’s wish that he and Elias live together permanently is going to become real. I did chuckle when...

The R-Rated The Moth Diaries is Mary Harron's new horror film.

To horror film fans, she's more affectionately known as the woman who directed the American Psycho film adaptation from the novel by Bret Easton Ellis. Her films I Shot Andy Warhol, and The Notorious Bettie Page are just as respected by wider circles, however.

The director of The Wackness and 50/50, Jonathan Levine, is in negotiations to direct a film called Dead Spy Running. The film is an adaptation of a book written by John Stock. Levine is a talented director, and is slowly moving away from from the indie film world and into the mainstream. His next movie is a Twilight-looking zombie romance film called Dead Bodies, and now there's this spy film he might end up directing for Warner Bros. I love spy thrillers, and this sounds like it's going to be a good one.

Sandman Meditations – Worlds’ End: “Cerements”

The word necropolis etymologically means “city of the dead”, but its everyday definition is “cemetery” or “burial ground”. In the penultimate chapter of Worlds’ End, the necropolis of Litharge is more literal — a city built from the dead and devoted to the dead, a metropolis of morticians.

It’s an evocative, strangely beautiful idea. Certainly, it’s efficient: with all the corpses and their detritus contributing to the creation and maintenance of the city (once the appropriate rituals have been attended to), Litharge provides a model of sustainability, with one of the best recycling programs in all the Sandman stories.

“Cerements” also presents the most deeply nested storytelling of any yet, with stories within stories within stories within — well, honestly, I lost count. The structure of the storytelling echoes the complexity of the catacombs beneath Litharge.

AMC TV has released the following video from the first day of filming for Frank Darabont's The Walking Dead. In the aforementioned video the cast and crew of "The Walking Dead" give fans a taste of whats coming on the first day of shooting for Season 2. Dead bodies and plenty of drama returns this fall on AMC. The project is set among a group of zombie survivors of an apocalypse who are led by a police officer, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), in search of a safe place to live. Fans of The Walking Dead looking for any hope of new information will most likely be disappointed in the video clip that was released today. AMC released a new video that shows the cast and crew of The Walking Dead giving fans a taste of what’s coming up in Season 2 on the first day of shooting. Dead bodies, drama, a smoking camper and not a whole a lot of new information! The Walking Dead returns this fall on AMC all rumors are leading to a October release.

I know this is supposed to be a Game of Thrones recap, but I must ask: is anyone else watching The Killing on AMC? I am, and it’s on right before Game of Thrones.

It’s one of those shows where the whole season is devoted to solving one murder. Weirdly, this week’s episode had nothing to do with the murder itself – it was a side-trek where we learn a little bit about the pasts of the two very flawed characters who are trying to solve the murder.

And it was amazing.

The Irish Film Institute will pay tribute to the late Irish cinematographer, Donal Gilligan with a special screening of Kevin Liddy's award winning 2000 feature, 'Country', for which Gilligan was the director of photography. The screening will take place on May 30th at 6.10pm. The 46 year old two-time Ifta nominee made his feature director of photography debut in 1994 with Joe Comerford's 'High Boot Benny'. He went on to shoot many more Irish and international features including Conor McPherson's 'Endgame'; Pete Travis' 'Omagh'; Robert Quinn's 'Dead Bodies' and David Caffrey's 2010 'Love/Hate'.

HollywoodNews.com: Despite the wealth (no pun intended) of filmmakers interested in investing in a future blockbuster, James Cameron is one of the few folks in Hollywood who puts his money where his mouth is: After investing some $300 million in 3D technology developing his own camera system in order to shoot “Avatar,” he’s further funding the use of 3D by executive producing “Sanctum,” director Alister Grierson’s story of a group of cave divers who get trapped miles underground. Combining state-of-the-art camera technology with firecracker storytelling, Cameron hopes to further expand 3D’s presence in the movie marketplace – both commercially and artistically.

Dario Argento is a legend in the horror genre, but he’s also an incredibly hit or miss director. (Unless you’re someone who needs cohesive plots in movies, then all of his films are probably misses.) Irish cinematographer Donal Gilligan passed away on Sunday, 19 September 2010, he was 46. Much loved amongst his friends and colleagues within the Irish film and television industry, the two time Ifta nominee suffered a sudden heart attack on Sunday night. Donal began his career in the industry in the early nineties and worked on dozens of successful Irish projects throughout the years including 'Omagh', 'Dead Bodies', 'Mystics', 'Watermelon', 'John McGahern: A Private World' and 'Raw'. He is survived by his four children and wife Charlotte.
