In a 2003 interview, Gry Bay talked about her real sex scenes with Adrian Bouchet (credited as Mark Stevens). "I really enjoyed the sex scenes with Mark, even though we were a little nervous at first. We got on well together and I really like him a lot. It was a bit strange to have sex with a whole film crew as spectators, but in the role of Anna I found it completely natural because I lived so intensely into the role. However, I did not have an orgasm during the scenes with Mark," said Gry and emphasized that both condoms and lubricant were of course used in the sex scenes.
Gry Bay revealed that the biggest challenge for her was a lesbian sex scene with France's biggest porn star Ovidie. "It was incredibly exciting. I have never been with a woman before. Ovidie went through the scene with me and told me she was going to slip her fingers in and out of me. But that left me completely dry. After all, it's only something men want to see. But actually, that's not what we women like at all". Bay talked to Jessica Nilsson, who immediately changed the scene for her sake. The film is not a porn film where you see gynecological close-ups, but more of an erotic love film. "So when we finally shot the scene, she kissed me gently and I had no problem with that," Gry explained.
To achieve a realism beyond even the Dogme 95 manifesto, the location used for Anna's apartment in the film is actually Gry Bay's own apartment in downtown Copenhagen. The steamy unsimulated sex scene between Gry Bay and Thomas Raft, which opens the film, was staged in front of a huge window and witnessed by astonished neighbors while traffic and everyday life passed by on the busy city street outside. One particularly amazed observer was Thure Lindhardt, Gry Bay's co-star in the comedy Slim Slam Slum (2002), who happens to live in the building opposite hers.
In 2007 this film won three Scandinavian Adult Awards, including Best Scandinavian Couples Film, Best Scandinavian Actor (Thomas Raft) and Best Selling Scandinavian Star of 2006 (Gry Bay).
