    Awaken the soul!

This is a pretty good show to watch, I had a lot of fun while watching the season. This is my second favorite so far to be honest and I'll explain why it is. The story is pretty good, it has the watch more episodes factor like Ryuki has. I like the characters, I think the actors did a great job playing as their roles. Very soon, this show would be 20 years old! I felt like yesterday when I first watched it 10 years ago, watching it now was a feel good. Honestly, I prefer Agito over Kuuga because Agito has a more interesting story and I think the pace is better. Overall, I like the show, I recommend watching it.

    As Good as It Gets...

There's not much one can say without spoiling anything, and this is probably the most complex and dense hero show one will have to opportunity to watch. Agito is a very story-centric supernatural mystery, one which action and characters generally taking a backseat, though not to a large degree. with that said, this is likely the most epic show of the variety, very reminiscent of Power Rangers: Time Force, but kicked up quite a few levels. The show is also targeted towards adults, especially in comparison to the recent rider franchises.

Action and production values are high, though it isn't as glossy as say Kamen Rider Faiz/555 was, it still avoids being visually dated. If anything, it's a modest show, and that dates it. There is no real flash, and it isn't needed.

If you ever have the opportunity to watch, it should be a pleasant surprise.

A vast improvement over the previous Kamen Rider iteration

Yup, I wrote it, this is better than the mediocre (and, accordingly, uberoverrated) Kuuga by a mile in every sense of the term. The writing is better, the suits are better, the combinations of suits and different weapons are better, the minions costumes are better, the fights are extremely well coreographed and gripping, the humour is genuinely fun and not contrived, the characters are more interesting and better fleshed out (in particular check out the hardass Ozawa Sumiko as one of the strongest women I've seen until now in tokusatsus period), the more psi-oriented angle is better than the boring police procedural stuff of Kuuga which is leaps and bounds far better served in a IP like Ghost in The Shell than in a superhero franchise like Kamen Rider especially considering the influence on the latter of the classic series Kamen Rider Black - the same influence that is clear as day here too - etc. Etc. The only department in which Kuuga was a bit better in my book was the music during the fights, which was directly rooted in death metal while here is still metal but not death metal, but for all the rest Agito takes the cake in every possible way. Personally, I would consider this series the true start of the Hensei period of Kamen rider, with the previous one serving more as a prologue for things to come and a way to remove the rust from the blade after a decade the production for the franchise was stopped than anything else. It's no Kamen Rider Black, but it's highly recommended nonetheless.

Good as Kuuga, new support Rider, but...

Follows the succes of Kamen Rider Kuuga, Agito story still grim as it is. The amnesia main character also left mysteries to reveal. What makes it good are the G3x rider and Gill rider heaten the stories. Although in the middle the stories quite stray to the main plot leading into weird ending. Stiil, the main character story is well-developed.

At the auditions for Agito. One of the finalists of the title role was Yuusuke Kousaka. He's the son of Ryo Hayami, AKA, Kamen Rider X. Toei had a policy for main actors family members not to be involved in front of the camera in a key role, possibly to avoid cases of nepotism. Eventually, his family history was unearthed and Kousaka was disqualified from from the auditions.
