Betameche: [while watching Selenia vainly try to pull the sword out] See? I told you that you were WAY too arrogant!

Arthur: [looking at a banner that contains a William Shakespeare quote] "Some words may hide others."
[Arthur notices writing hidden in the fabric]
Arthur: Of course!
Narrator: Archibald left his Grandson a note saying, "Dear Arthur, I'm sorry I left you without saying goodbye. But just because you can't see me, doesn't mean I'm not here. I have gone to visit the world of the Mimimoys to collect our rubies. Before, I was in charge of the expedition, but now, it will fall to you... If you accept it, that is.
Arthur: [determined] I will accept it, Grandpa.
Narrator: [as the Grandfather] Good.

[Darkos activates a pole that inflates a giant ball of mean-looking spikes; threatening Arthur and Betameche who are hiding under a table]
Arthur: [uneasy] That's not good.
Betameche: [in a high-pitched, terrified squeak] Nah-uh.

Princess Selenia: [Darkos, Malthazar's son pulls a menu she holding and covering her face with] Oh! Hey, Darkos...
Darkos: [arrogantly surprised] Selenia? What a nice princess like you doing in a place like this?
Princess Selenia: [friendly] Oh, I just dropped by here to hang out and dance.
Darkos: [leaning forward menacingly] Very well then, let's DANCE.
Princess Selenia: [sweetily] Darkos sweetheart, I would rather...
[snarling fiercely]
Princess Selenia: *DIE* than to dance with YOU.

[Arthur successfully pulls the sword out of the stone and defeat two of Mathazars soldiers into submission]
Betameche: You fought like a prince!
Arthur: [admiring and examining the sword] When I was fighting with it, it was really light, like it's magic...
Betameche: [excitedly] Yes, it is a magical sword. It has been stuck in that stone for hundreds of years. And *You're* the one who released it. Arthur, you're a hero now!
[shouts]
Betameche: Hey! Hey, everybody! We have a hero! Arthur the Hero!
Minimoy: [peaking out of a hiding place] Arthur the what?
Betameche: [cont. shouting] Arthur the Hero! Arthur the Hero! Long Live, Arthur the Hero!
King: [cheering along] Long Live, Arthur!
[the whole kingdom soon surrounds Arthur, chanting joyously]

Arthur: [in trailer] As long as I can breath, they are not getting into this house!

Granny: [Granny discovers that Arthur knocked down her bedroom door from the previous night] Arthur! Arthur?
Granny: [she walks into Arthur's room; something moves in the covers of his be] Arthur? You broke down my door and steal the key? Answer me, Arthur!
[she removes the cover;revealing Arthur's dog Alfred, who jumps off the bed barking]
Granny: [screaming] AHHHH! ALFRED! OH!

Princess Selenia: [to Arthur; in the hallway of the Evil M's palace] I'll face M alone. Right now, we're splitting up.
Arthur: What would happen if you succeed?
Princess Selenia: Then we shall meet back here.
Arthur: [concerned] And if you fail?
[Selenia hesitates]
Princess Selenia: If I should fail... Then I shall breathe all my powers to you.
Arthur: What does that mean?
Princess Selenia: [a short pause] Be a good king.

[Selenia and Betameche are bickering]
King: [sternly] Selenia! Betameche! You two, stop bickering.
[Selenia and Betameche turn their backs to one another, food their arms and pout crossily]
Princess Selenia, Betameche: [in unison] Hmph!

[first lines]
Narrator: [a photo album unlatches and opens to a picture of a bearded man] This is Archibald Suchot, a treasure hunter, explorer, and engineer. He spent 10 years in Africa building every type of useful thing. Oh, by the way, it's in the heart of Africa that our story begins.
Narrator: [cut to a country road] Well, this really isn't Africa, it's Connecticut, and this is the house Archibald lived in before he mysteriously disappeared. But that's a story that Archibald's grandson would be more qualified to tell you. We'll see that he's quite a charming kid, who answers to the name of Arthur.

Davido: Nobody move, I said.
Archibald: So that's why you had your sight set on this land.
Davido: Of course, the call of greed. Now, and forever. One night you had a few too many and you told me about this treasure, and ever since i have a good night's sleep. But now it's mine. Thanks, kid. Nice job. Well, I'll be say my farewells. You won't be seeing me ever again because I am going far, far away.
Police Officer #1: You're coming with me.
Davido: Oh. Get your hand off me. i know the governor.
Archibald: Oh, I'll take that. I'll take that.
Massai Chief: Next time, please, put your gift in a sacred place.
Archibald: That's a promise.
Granny: I'll take It. Much safe with me.
