Harrowing, but humorous comedy

This movie strongly combines painful reality with a sometimes ridiculous concurrence of circumstances.

The main character is a former scientist in Eastern Germany that lost his job and became a bus driver. All by coincidence he gets involved in trade in women; child, money and drugs smuggling. He tries to safe himself and all victims from the criminals in this entertaining story.

Urban fairy tale with horse in it

It is a gangster-comedy, but its some more than that. There are hilarious coincidences and situations, that remind me "Lock Stock an two smoking barrels" and "Snatch". There are several plot lines, which are touching, twisting and moving strangely together towards the end, which, maybe, brings them all together. Maybe not. But what I loved most is the realness of the different characters, mainly of the hero, who is acting all the while with typical German calmness, nearly, but as it says, only nearly, coolness. He isn't cool. He isn't cool the way, like we have seen in too much films yet. But though he quite shure knows what to do in a middle of an awful pile of a mess, without loosing his smile. And if there is no help anymore: Just trust the horse. And a ship will come...
