Trevor Harris is listed in the credits as playing "Doug" but since he's never referred to in dialog by that name, he may be hard to spot. Doug is the young man who comes into the locker room for a late shower. The irritated Coach tells him to make it fast because he wants to lock up. In the shower, Doug trips, falls, knocks himself out, and is attacked by leeches, one of which enters his mouth. Later, Doug stumbles into his dorm room, obviously in distress, and vomits a leech into the sink.
The original script had more female exposure it.
All the special effects were done practically.
