The episodes in Series 1 and 2 were shown in two one-hour parts.
Maloney avoids revealing his first name whenever being introduced. Early in Daniel Berrington: Part 1 (2004), a file in a drawer is briefly visible which gives Maloney's first name as Bryan (possibly a reference to series creator Bryan Elsley). However, this was changed for later episodes, which gave his name as Marion.
