Contestants on Top Chef have faced controversies onscreen and off, including harassment claims and unfair treatment by producers. Chefs risk burns and cuts on reality shows, but severe head injuries should not be part of the competition. Show producers pressured a chef with a serious head injury to make career-altering decisions without proper support.
There have been many onscreen Top Chef controversies, like when a chef was accused of stealing someone else's food and serving it. Unfortunately, something that many fans don't know is that there have also been several behind-the-scenes scandals.
For example, Padma Lakshmi claimed she was harassed on set and one competitor claimed the show's locations disadvantage some chefs. According to a competitor from the Top Chef: Just Desserts spin-off, the show's producers also have a history of being cruel to the chefs.

Al Roker and Speidi clashed on Twitter after a controversial "Today" interview in 2009. Spencer Pratt insulted Roker's physical appearance and marital life in response. The reality TV couple almost quit "I'm A Celebrity" multiple times due to clashes with contestants.
Og reality TV couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt once went head-to-head with Today anchor Al Roker in a feud that spilled over to Twitter, resulting in some back and forth. It is safe to say that the feud was quite unexpected because while Roker mostly stays off controversial moments, Montag and Pratt built their fame on drama. The duo were famous for a feud connected to Montag's former friend, Lauren Conrad. Nonetheless, the famous weather forecaster and the reality TV couple clashed. The source of their spat can be traced back to 2009, when they appeared on "Today," shortly after they competed on ITV's "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

"A Time For Killing" (also called "The Long Ride Home") isn't one of the best Westerns of all time, nor is it the most memorable, but the 1967 film still comes up in conversation thanks to its unique status as the very first movie role Harrison Ford was ever credited in. Ford played a young, sideburn-wearing Union soldier in the film, which followed the exploits of a group of captured Confederate soldiers on a mad dash for Mexico — none of whom realize the war has officially ended.
Aside from Ford's debut as Lieutenant Shaffer (for which he was credited as Harrison J. Ford), "A Time For Killing" is most noteworthy for its status as an abandoned Roger Corman flick. Corman started making "A Time For Killing" after already churning out cult classics like "A Bucket of Blood" and "The Little Shop of Horrors," but the low-budget filmmaker was replaced by "99 River Street...

Laurence Fox’s highly misogynistic rant on Dan Wootton Tonight, which led to the actor and politician’s firing from Gb News, was Ofcom’s most-complained-about TV show of the year in 2023.

Jamie Lynn Spears is one of the 10 contestants who will compete on the U.K. reality series “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here,” ITV announced on Monday.
The series strands its contestants in the Australian jungle for three weeks without any modern conveniences.
Spears, who was the second celeb eliminated from Season 32 of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” said in the press release, “This is going to be terrifying.” She added, “I am absolutely frightened of everything” she might encounter in the jungle, including snakes and spiders.
The “Zoey 101″ star explained she lined up back-to-back reality shows because of the recently resolved actors’ strike. “I think it is so far out of my comfort zone and this year with SAG being on strike, I have said ‘yes’ to a lot of unscripted projects. I am really enjoying throwing myself into these experiences,” she said.

“Relentlessly pursued by a cruel Gestapo officer who seeks to possess the stone for his own selfish means, Marie-Laure and Daniel soon find refuge in St Malo, where they take up residence with a reclusive uncle who transmits clandestine radio broadcasts as part of the resistance.
The TV series is directed by the Stranger Things producer-director and was written by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders).

Earlier this year ITV Studios, which reps shows ranging from “Love Island” to “Schitt’s Creek,” revealed it was merging its global distribution and entertainment arms. On Tuesday afternoon, Ruth Berry, the woman who was appointed to lead the now joint arms, set out the strategy behind the move during a keynote discussion at Mip TV in Cannes.
“I think we’re bringing together the formats and the finished programming businesses to create a singular multi-genre multi-brand multi-dimensional commercial business to the heart of the studio,” Berry explained. “Be that deficit financing and licencing rights to brilliant scripted slates, rolling out new formats like ‘My Mum, Your Dad’ and ‘Scared of the Dark,’ merchandising ‘Schitts Creek’ products, selling ‘Love Island’ water bottles, moving into the Metaverse, you know, all these things, having them in one place.”
Berry’s new role, she added, is to “to try and get my arms around...

The evening of April 12 was quite the wild ride on social media, as Liam Payne and Tommy Fury both added posters of them facing off on their Instagram feeds. The mock-up design looked very similar to posters publicising big boxing fights, as the profile of the One Direction singer faced the former "Love Island" star with the words "Old Trafford" and "This Summer" between them.
Naturally, the internet went into a meltdown, assuming a huge celebrity boxing match was in the cards. The idea wasn't beyond the realm of possibility either, considering Fury recently beat US YouTuber Jake Paul in the ring just days after he became a dad – he even dedicated his win to baby Bambi and girlfriend, Molly-Mae. But fans weren't impressed with Payne's career change.

Shirley Ballas has hinted that that she may consider leaving Strictly Come Dancing due to the “truly awful” messages she receives from trolls online.
Ballas has been a fixture on the BBC dancing competition since 2017, having been brought on to replace Len Goodman as head judge.
In a recent interview, the 62-year-old said that she reached an “all-time low” during last year’s season due to trolls.
“Last year, I was struggling,” she told The Mirror. “It wasn’t just a little bit, it was a lot – the majority of it was in silence.”
Ballas continued: “I felt the abuse snowballed out of control and impacted me in such a negative way. I’m a pretty stoic person, and I tend to hold everything in.”
She said it was the most negativity she has “ever experienced”. Ballas did, however, commend the “brilliant” BBC for checking in on her reguarly and offering support and counselling.

Busted have announced a greatest hits reunion tour to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
On Thursday (23 March), the band posted a video on Instagram informing fans that they are back for a special anniversary tour.
“Busted is back,” they wrote in the caption for the video, before informing fans that tickets will go on sale from Friday 31 March.
The British boy band were hugely famous in the noughties for pop-punk hits such as “Year 3000”, “What I Go To School For” and “Crashed The Wedding”.
The group, consisting of Charlie Simpson, Matt Willis and James Bourne, were teens in Busted’s early days, and are now in their late 30s.
Although they may not have been together as Busted for a while, the group members have been very busy for the last 20 years.
So what exactly have Busted been up to for the last two decades?

Carol Vorderman was pictured with Matt Hancock at the Cheltenham races months after slamming his I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! appearance and calling him a “c**k”.
The former Countdown presenter was seen chatting to Hancock on the balcony of a hospitality suite at the Cheltenham Festival this week.
The duo were spotted together months after Vorderman joked about Hancock’s TV appearance.
“Well I’m on my way into the This Morning studio again to talk about Boy George with Boy George’s manager and to talk about the arrival about Seann Walsh and Matt Hancock,” Vorderman said in a video posted to her Twitter in November.
“Apparently, to say his name properly the ‘Han’ is silent. Who knew?” she added.
She captioned her tweet: “Practising saying Matt Hancock correctly.... apparently the Han in Han-Cock is silent.”
Hancock received plenty of criticism for his appearance on I’m A Celebrity.
