HBO’s new Harry Potter TV series is finally starting to take shape. The company has officially started filming the show at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the UK, and fans just got their first look at the young actor who will play Harry himself.

Dominic McLaughlin has been revealed as the new Harry Potter, and HBO shared a photo of him wearing his Hogwarts robes for the first time.

Along with this news, HBO also announced more actors joining the cast. According to the studio, Rory Wilmot will play Neville Longbottom, Amos Kitson will play Harry’s spoiled cousin Dudley Dursley, Louise Brealey will play flying teacher Madam Hooch, and Anton Lesser will appear as Ollivander, the wand maker.

Panda Bear (a.k.a Animal Collective’s Noah Lennox) has added dates to his ongoing 2025 tour. He has also shared “Virginia Tech,” a B-side from his new solo album Sinister Grift, which you can listen to below.

Beginning in September, the new dates expand his United States and EU/UK treks. Major stops include Baltimore, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Berlin. Panda Bear’s final show of 2025 is currently set for November 17th.

Noah Lennox’s 2019 album Buoys was supposed to mark a new era for the musician. At the time of its release, Lennox, a.k.a. Panda Bear, said that he was intent on making music that would “feel familiar to a young person’s ears,” only for the Animal Collective member to immediately change course with his nostalgic 2022 team-up with Sonic Boom, Reset.

That album harkened back to midcentury traditional pop and, more than any of Lennox’s solo efforts, the Beach Boys. Panda Bear, the solo project of Animal Collective member Noah Lennox, crafted Sinister Grift at his Estudio Campo in Lisbon, Portugal with fellow Animal Collective member Josh Dibb (A.K.A. Deakin).
