The version finished in 1971 was 12 Min and played for 2 weeks at the Elgin Theater in Chelsea NYC. This version was cut down to 10 Min to distribute in theater in LA , but the distributor soon lost the original film. In the 1990s the filmmaker recreated and improved on the original using out takes and print film o make a new 35mm film master which played in about 15 festivals world wide between 200- and 2003 as film or SD video. A new cut for 2018 is 11 Min. and master in 2k for HD and won the Sony Pictures Classic short award for 2018 in Asbury Park NJ in its only entry since. It has never been commercially shown on TV or the internet.
