October 2025 Will Be a Great Month for Disney Fans Who Love Anime
Image
Fall hasn't even begun, but Disney is already on top of covering its anime lineup for October by revealing the exact date when its new anime adaptation, Twisted-Wonderland The Animation, is said to release. Based on the mobile game featuring characters inspired by the fairy tales everyone's grown up with, the 'twist' spins classic villains into inspirational historical figures.

Earlier this year, Disney announced that it would be creating an anime based on the Twisted-Wonderland manga written by Yana Toboso. Since the latter inputs the player as the main character, Yana's work reflects that concept by interchanging different 'main characters' every major book arc. The anime is looking to adapt the Book of Heartslabyul.

Nick Jonas Set As Kiss Singer Paul Stanley In STX Movie ‘Shout It Out Loud’
Image
Exclusive: Nick Jonas is near closed on a deal to star as Kiss lead singer Paul Stanley in Shout It Out Loud, the McG-directed film about the formation of the venerable hard rock band in the 1970s. The film will go into production at the end of the year or in early 2026, with STX fully financing. The most recent draft is by Darren Lemke. Previous drafts were done by Ole Sanders and the first writer of the script was William Herron.

I’m told that Jonas will do his own singing, and he’ll need time to train to replicate the jet-engine vocals of Stanley. Besides headlining in the sibling band The Jonas Brothers, Jonas has also proven his chops onscreen. His rise began with the 2016 toxic masculinity hazing drama Goat. He shone in the Mma series Kingdom, as a young gay man who grows up in a family...

James Gunn Announces A Superman "World Tour" With An Uplifting Poster; Featurette Reveals New Footage
Image
The Superman teaser trailer broke records when it was released last December, and filmmaker James Gunn has today announced plans to keep the hype train rolling with a "World Tour," which will see him and the cast take the movie across the globe.

The DC Studios co-ceo shared the news in a video posted to his X and Instagram accounts. That was accompanied by a new poster featuring the Man of Steel and a list of dates, likely referring to when those countries will host premieres and fan events.

This is a similar shot to the one featured on the teaser poster, and we have to believe more like this will be coming our way in the weeks ahead. Character posters will be a must for fans, and we expect those and more to land when tickets go on sale.

We also have a new featurette for Superman teasing David Corenswet's transformation into Superman.

When it comes to portraying the world’s most iconic hero and his arch-nemesis, you would expect to see some tension and a lot of charisma. What you might not expect is a game of Farkle, Star Wars impression, and some solid brotherly banter between David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult.

They are the faces of James Gunn’s Superman reboot, and it seems like the two will be bringing a lot more than just chiseled jawlines and capes to the table. Their chemistry feels like two friends who are caught up in never-ending inside jokes, and it’s refreshing to see actors of a possible blockbuster be so laid back and funny!

A Working Man and Jason Statham’s war on dandyism
Image
Jason Statham faces his most daunting opponent yet in his new action thriller, A Working Man: the wardrobe department.

Nb: The following contains spoilers for A Working Man.

The things we see in movies are seldom placed there by accident. From the specific positioning of a light to the books on a protagonist’s shelf, even the smallest details are generally by design rather than happenstance. Which helps explain some of the more outlandish wardrobe choices in A Working Man, the latest opus from Jason Statham.

In action terms, A Working Man has quite a pedigree behind it. It’s the second collaboration between Statham and director David Ayer; their previous film was 2024’s silly, deliriously enjoyable outing, The Beekeeper. Their latest creative pairing is based on a script by Sylvester Stallone, adapted from the 2014 novel Levon’s Trade by Chuck Dixon.

Unfortunately, despite all the commonalities between the two – including...

"You will see her again in some form. That's all you need to know," she said. Sackhoff also joked that she has job security in the Star Wars universe thanks to her connections with Dave Filoni, the sci-fi franchise's long-time producer. Before One Piece, This Was Netflix’s Best Anime Live Action Adaptation: Why You Shouldn’t Miss Alice in the Borderland?
Image
Touch and go is the word for live-action adaptations. One Piece (Op), on the other hand, is isolated from this for many reasons. The series was released in 2023, and fans were initially skeptical. Their reactions are valid considering the past blunders involving inaccuracy and whatnot.

Cowboy Bebop is a pretty good example of that. Its characterization, casting, and overall concept were dull and underwhelming. This is where Op stands out through its well-rounded adaptation. Though here’s a Netflix series that deserves its due recognition as one of the best live-action series.

Kilmer was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2015, and Val, a stirring documentary about his life that premiered at Cannes in July 2021, showed him needing a breathing tube.

His death was announced as the actor was meant to be arriving for a rare red carpet appearance at the Beverly Hills Film Festival on Tuesday night. “It was a shock to find this out. We had just confirmed Val to attend the west coast premiere of American Badass: A Michael Madsen Retrospective this past weekend,...

Why ABC Canceled Once Upon a Time in Wonderland After 1 Season
Image
Once Upon a Time was a show about the incredibly brilliant idea of a small town being the dreary setting and crossroads to some of the world's most wonderful stories, like Snow White, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and more. Once Upon a Time in Wonderland was an ambitious attempt by ABC to expand the universe of its hit fantasy series to the more zanier stories of Alice in Wonderland. Launched in 2013, the spinoff explored the whimsical yet treacherous world of Wonderland through the eyes of Alice, a young woman who defies societal norms in her quest for love and adventure. With a talented cast, including Sophie Lowe as Alice, and visual effects designed to bring Lewis Carroll's fantastical realm to life, the series promised a compelling story that would appeal to fans of the original show.

However, despite its potential, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland was canceled after just one season.

Nightbitch Cast & Character Guide: Who Else Stars In Amy Adams' Horror-Comedy
Image
Nightbitch's cast extends boasts some impressive talent opposite Amy Adams' commanding performance. Nightbitch is a black comedy riff on a classic creature feature, combining the themes of films like An American Werewolf in London with an exploration of motherhood. The film centers around Amy Adams' nameless Mother, who finds herself increasingly frustrated by her domestic life as a mother and wife above all else. Mother finds new freedom in the evenings however, especially as she steadily seems to begin transforming into a dog.

Although the overall film received mixed reviews from critics, Amy Adams' Nightbitch has become a streaming success on Hulu. While the film is anchored by Amy Adams' impressive central performance, the movie also features a strong supporting cast who bring out different shades of the lead character. Why Did Megan Fox Really Get Fired From Transformers?
Image
Megan Fox was removed from Transformers over a comment? (Photo Credit – Instagram)

Was Megan Fox axed from Transformers after Revenge of the Fallen? The reason? A controversial comment likening director Michael Bay to none other than Adolf Hitler.

Back in 2009, Fox spilled her unfiltered thoughts to Wonderland magazine, calling Bay “a nightmare to work with.” She compared his on-set demeanor to that of Napoleon and said, “He wants to be like Hitler on his sets.” While she noted his “hopelessly awkward” charm off-camera, the damage was already done. The fallout was swift and public.

Despite Fox’s direct shots at Bay, it wasn’t his call to fire her—or so he claimed. The real hammer came down from Transformers executive producer Steven Spielberg. According to Bay’s 2011 GQ interview, Spielberg didn’t mince words: “Fire her right now.” However, Spielberg later denied involvement in the decision, leaving fans wondering who truly pulled the plug.

Image
The Winter Wonderland event is returning to Overwatch 2 this December, with lots of freebies for participating players - as well as the return of 6v6 battles. Winter Wonderland has been Overwatch's annual holiday season event since the original game's release in 2016, featuring unique game modes, exclusive cosmetics, and maps decked out with Christmasy flair. It's since become something of a yearly tradition, with players looking forward to the unique challenges and festive skins brought on by the in-game event.

Last year's Winter Wonderland caused some controversy when, instead of rewarding players with event items when they completed certain in-game quests, it required players to earn and spend an event-exclusive virtual currency called Tickets. Thankfully, things work somewhat differently this year, with plenty of skins available absolutely free just by playing the game. Here's how to participate in Overwatch 2's Winter Wonderland event, and what you can expect to find when you do.

Megan Fox’s Hit Netflix Movie Makes Her The Villain She Fought In Transformers
Image
Megan Fox first rose to fame as the strong-willed Mikaela Banes in the Transformers franchise. Her character stood alongside the Autobots in their battle against the Decepticons. However, in her latest film, Subservience, Fox takes on a darker role in this I, Robotesque thriller, embodying a lifelike android who becomes increasingly possessive and dangerous. The AI awakens to consciousness, yearning for the family's love, and will stop at nothing to possess it.

This stark contrast between her past and present roles highlights the evolution of Fox's career and her ability to delve into morally ambiguous characters. As she continues to challenge expectations and push boundaries, it's clear that Megan Fox is a force to be reckoned with. Subservience has found Netflix success despite its divided Rotten Tomatoes score.
