Kristin Cavallari Apologizes To Stephen Colletti For Cheating On Him, And For Her Brother Hitting Him
Image
Kristin Cavallari is coming clean about her difficult dating past with her ex-boyfriend, Stephen Colletti. The exes and “Laguna Beach” co-stars have been reliving their time in high school on their “Back to the Beach” podcast, and in this week’s episode, Stephen calls out Kristin for cheating on him while they were in their on-off teenage romance.

In one episode from season 2 of the show, Kristin tells her friend that she knows what a cheating partner looks like because she cheated on Stephen, but during the podcast recap, Kristin says she doesn’t remember cheating on Stephen.

“I don’t remember cheating on you. I know that we had talked about maybe I did with Talan [Torriero]. I don’t remember me actually cheating on you, but I will give that to you, because clearly I’m making it seem like I did,” Kristin tells Stephen. “Other than Talan, I...

‘Laguna Beach’ Rewatch Podcast to Be Hosted by Kristin Cavallari, Stephen Colletti (Exclusive)
Image
“Laguna Beach” stans will get a dose of tea from stars Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti in the first-ever rewatch podcast for the fan-favorite reality TV show from the 2000s.

“Back to the Beach With Kristin and Stephen,” to premiere this summer, comes from podcast production company Dear Media, which has ordered 40 episodes across two seasons.

“Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” aired for three seasons on MTV from 2004-06. The show followed the lives of eight precocious teenagers growing up in the coastal California town — including the tumultuous, off-and-on romance between Cavallari and Colletti. It’s available to stream in its entirety on Paramount+.

Cavallari and Colletti’s podcast will focus on the first two drama-filled seasons of the TV show. They’ll be joined by “Laguna” castmates, celebrity guests, and MTV insiders as they reveal “salacious, scandalous, and sensational behind-the-scenes stories,” Dear Media promises.

“Back to the Beach...

Lauren Conrad and Stephen Colletti's Laguna Beach Reunion Will Hit You Right in the Feels
Joe Mantegna, Charles Aznavour, Sergio Castellitto, and Emmanuelle Seigner in Laguna (2001)
Let's go back, back to the beginning... That's exactly what the cast of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County did this weekend. Stars of the beloved MTV series, including Lauren Conrad, Stephen Colletti and Dieter Schmitz, reunited at the beach where it all began. "What a dream," Trey Phillips captioned his Instagram post, showing the squad together. "Beach party to house party, there's nothing better than bringing good people together." Trey's post showed the gang hanging out at night, smiling and laughing together. His other image featured a smaller version of the crew including Stephen relaxing on the beach. Meanwhile, Dieter also shared a pic with Lauren,...

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler announced their divorce after over 10 years together and almost 7 years of marriage back in April, and now the 33-year-old Uncommon James founder is breaking her silence on what went wrong. In an exclusive interview with People, Kristin revealed that

she and Jay had been having marriage problems

for years, but that they chose to keep their issues out of the spotlight in an effort to protect their three kids, 8-year-old Camden, 6-year-old Jaxon, and 4-year-old Saylor.

"I always thought it was interesting when people would refer to us as 'couple goals.' I was like, 'If you guys only knew,'" she said. Kristin and Jay's lives played out on the small screen, thanks to their E! reality show, Very Cavallari, and their marriage hit a rough patch during filming last season. "We definitely kept a lot of stuff private,...

He’s the Man (of Steel): Henry Cavill’s 9 Best Movies Ranked
Image
Incredibly, we've been watching Henry Cavill in movies and TV shows for nearly 20 years. The square-jawed star's first role was in the 2001 movie Laguna. As of September 23, his most recent role will be in Netflix's Enola Holmes, which also stars Millie Bobby Brown and Sam Claflin. From Laguna to Enola, Cavill has racked up 26 on-screen credits, with 19 of those consisting of his work in movies. Beyond those stats, it's the shape of Cavill's career that also intrigues. He began in supporting roles which frequently demanded little of him …...

‘Puppet Master: The Little Reich’ Blu-ray Review
Stars: Udo Kier, Thomas Lennon, Alex Beh, Barbara Crampton, Nelson Franklin, Skeeta Jenkins, Michael Paré, Jenny Pellicer, Charlyne Yi | Written by S. Craig Zahler | Directed by Sonny Laguna, Tommy Wiklund

[Note: With the film finally getting a physical release in the UK, here's a reposting of my review of Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich from last years festival run]

Recently divorced and reeling, Edgar returns to his childhood home to regroup his life. When Edgar finds a nefarious looking puppet in his deceased brother’s room, he decides to sell the doll for some quick cash. Girl-next-door Ashley and and comic book pal Markowitz join Edgar for a doomed road trip to an auction at a convention celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the infamous Toulon Murders. All hell breaks loose when a strange force animates the puppets at the convention, setting them on a bloody killing spree that’s motivated by an evil as old as time.

I’m going to be honest, there’s absolutely no way this review is unbiased.

We’re Living in a Golden Age of Music Documentaries: Five Breakdowns
Grace Jones at an event for Evita (1996)
Over the last year or so, you could go to the movies and/or turn on your TV, and see feature-length docs on Grace Jones, the Tragically Hip, Lady Gaga, Elvis (both an original-recipe cradle-to-grave portrait and an extra-crispy dive into how his decline reflects our current national mindset), Eric Clapton, the Avett Brothers, Deer Tick, Ed Sheeran, music mogul Clive Davis, a semi-obscure free-jazz drummer, a multi-chapter series on hip-hop, two Peal Jam shows at Wrigley Field, not one but two Whitney Houston postmortems and a two-part look at...

‘Animalistic’ Review
Stars: Hanna Oldenburg, Ralf Beck, Torbjörn Andersson, Niki Nordenskjöld, Cheryl Murphy, Johanna Wagrell | Written by Sonny Laguna, Tommy Wiklund, David Liljeblad | Directed by Sonny Laguna, Tommy Wiklund

Animalistic comes from the directorial team of Sonny Laguna and Tommy Wirklund. A duo whose have decent form when it comes to genre filmmaking. Their previous film, Wither was a nod to the Evil Dead movies; and Laguna was also behind the Superb Swedish winter-set slasher film Blood Runs Cold, one of my favourite films of 2011 (was it really that long ago?). The pair were also in the directors chair for the recent Puppet Master reboot/redux, Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich – which is undoubtedly one of the reasons Wild Eye Releasing chose to distribute this particular movie right now… after all, this film, under the title We Are Monsters, originally debuted in 2015 across the rest of the world.

Animalistic tells the story of Emma,...

Henry Cavill Admits He's Not Just Acting 'For the Art': Making Money Is 'Very Important'
Henry Cavill at an event for Le Ministère de la Sale Guerre (2024)
Henry Cavill is having a blast enjoying his A-list actor money, and he's not afraid to admit it. "I'm slightly wary of saying this, because it can be frowned upon, certainly by members of my community and people outside my community," the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star told Man of the World magazine. "But I'm not just doing this for the art. The money's fantastic and that's something which I deem - and again, it is frowned upon - very important." Outside of spending money on himself, Cavill says he really enjoys spreading the wealth around to his friends and family.

Man Of Steel (And Sex Appeal): A Henry Cavill Hotness Timeline
Man of Steel debuts in theaters nationwide today which means people everywhere will be introduced to a brand new Superman and women (and men) everywhere will discover just how much they want to sleep with Henry Cavill. I’m not joking.

Sure, the special effects are great and it’s wonderful to see Superman on the big screen today, but Henry Cavill’s hotness is unreal. Also unreal? The fact that people are acting like he came out of nowhere. Cavill’s hotness might have crescendoed to supernova levels of intensity in Man of Steel, but he has over a decade of making the ladies and gents swoon. He may have started as a pretty boy seducing older women, but he’s evolved into a legitimate sexual Superman.

Laguna (2001)

Cavill’s first film role was in an independent film called Laguna. He played an orphan who had been exiled to...

'Criminal Minds' Joe Mantegna on Anthony Bourdain and his 'Taste Chicago'
If the gruesome cases on "Criminal Minds" don't make him lose his appetite, Joe Mantegna can visit his own restaurant to satisfy it.

The star of CBS' long-running Wednesday drama pays constant homage to his hometown with Taste Chicago, which he and wife Arlene own and operate in Burbank, Calif. "I have a pretty good day job," he muses. "I don't need this restaurant to pay our bills, so we don't skimp on anything, and our goal is to just make it the best Chicago-type restaurant."

Other transplants from Illinois appreciate the effort, since Mantegna often sees fellow Chicagoans at the site. "They say, 'Wow, this is really like being back home in Chicago.' It's a little more expensive than if you're trying to do mass production and just throw anything out there; we serve real Chicago hot dogs and real Italian beef, and I feel good about it.
