Trivia

Rebelde Way

Edit
The main character of Mia Colluci remained the only one whose name was not fully changed in the successful Mexican version of this series. Other names kept include Pilar, Vico and Rocco.
The majority of its cast are former Chiquititas (1995) actors. The Brazilian remake Rebelde (2011) had Carla Diaz from Chiquititas Brasil (1997) and supporting adult actors later featured in Chiquititas (2013) - starred by Giovanna Grigio of Rebelde (2022).
Rocco's plot involving his bisexuality was notably dropped in the Mexican remake.
A Brazilian remake from the SBT channel entered production with some pilot sequences filmed, but ended up being shelved. The channel then opted to air the Mexican series instead, which became a cult hit in Brazil.
Spawned numerous adaptations in several countries, most notably the Mexican version Rebelde (2022), while also becoming a hit itself in countries such as Israel.
