Jackie Chan and Steve Coogan in Le Tour du monde en 80 jours (2004)

Trivia

Le Tour du monde en 80 jours

Edit
This was Arnold Schwarzenegger's last movie before being elected Governor of California.
This marks the first time that Owen Wilson and Luke Wilson played brothers on-screen.
With a box-office loss of around $38 million worldwide, plus prints, advertising, and distribution, this movie is considered the biggest independently-released flop in movie history (it was made by an independent group under Disney).
John Cleese is the fifth Monty Python member to appear in an adaptation of Around the World in 80 Days. Michael Palin starred in a BBC documentary in 1989 where he attempted to travel the same route as Jules Verne's Phileas Fogg. The documentary also featured appearances by Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam. Eric Idle starred in the mini-series Around the World in 80 Days (1989) as Passepartout.
Lord Kelvin plays with a metal spring in his office while humming "It's Slinky!" from the old Slinky television commercial.

Cameo

Richard Branson: The French balloon man who calls the main characters insane as they jump into the basket. Along with being the boss of the Virgin Group, Branson is also famed for his sometimes life-threatening ballooning record attempts.
Rob Schneider: as a San Francisco hobo. Schneider was born in San Francisco, and raised in nearby Pacifica, CA.

Director Cameo

Frank Coraci: the angry man that Phileas Fogg confronts in San Francisco while asking for money.
