- Max Diamond: What the fuck got into you today?
- Shane Miller: The guy was a creep. He deserved it.
- Max Diamond: That creep's father was John Conley. His prob is threatening half the department and you just became his poster child for excessive force.

- Max Diamond: That isn't the issue. You were way out of line. This guy isn't gonna sit quite, Shane. He's got you, and there's witnesses up and down that hall that would love to see a cop get burned. I'm issuing my report to Captain Kemp tomorrow. I'm telling him the truth. - Max Diamond: Kemp isn't gonna take this very well. There maybe an inquest.
