This was the only Eurovision Song Contest where countries were permitted to submit two songs.
    • Goofs
In the second round of songs, the host, Lohengrin Filipello, introduced several of the songs in the wrong order, that is, the songs that were being performed did not match the presentation the host was reading. When he introduced the song from France, the song from Luxembourg was performed instead. When he introduced the song from Italy, the song from France was performed instead. And when he introduced the song from Luxembourg, the song from Italy was performed instead. From the audio broadcast, he didn't seem conscious of this chain of mistakes at any moment.
