This strange mystery crime drama could easily have been made by Jean-Pierre Mocky, but maybe with some other means, other ways of filming and story telling. Yes, strange, it is very strange, with a terrific Richard Bohringer character, very complex, moving,unique performance for this actor fo whom it was his early career. Adapted from an Alain Demouzon's novel which I have read a long time and which I don't remind at all. It is a fascinating story, very French in the style , and not for worldwide audiences. I repeeat, Richard Bohringer justifies, only by his presence, to see it. I hope you will try it.
