As a huge fan of Alphaville I was astounded when someone posted this film to me.

It is an amusing story in its own right but the attention to the detail of the original is quite extraordinary.

The only thing missing is the reference to poetry that Godard plays so much attention to.

I really feel that a short piece like this that has so much effort put into it deserves a far wider audience than it has received so far.

At present it has 60 views and 2 upvotes on the creator's YouTube channel which is an insult to the work that went into creating it.

Any fan of Alphaville or Godard owes it to themselves to give this a watch and an upvote.
