    Respect for an aged game

Pokemon Gold is a Gameboy game that was huge back in 1999 and the early 00s. I have a lot of respect for the game, but when it comes to playing a game just for nostalgia's sake, the game unfortunately falls short.

It feels more like a duty than a real desire, despite the fact that I think it's basically enjoyable enough to play once I get going.

I'm glad they're building a world where choices matter, giving RPG elements to the game. Unfortunately, there are just too many good games on the block for this one to hold a place.

Pokemon Gold, you will always have my respect.
