The past decade has made anime streaming more popular than ever, with many streaming platforms coming out on top in the race to host the next hit. Netflix is still the biggest name in the game when it comes to streaming as a whole, while the Crunchyroll streaming service is the premiere home for anime specifically. While these host some great anime, one shopping network's streaming service has its own fair share of the medium's greats.

Naruto is inevitably going to get a remake, but making it good will be easier said than done. For all Naruto's anime's problems, it's come to be synonymous with the identity of the franchise as a whole. When someone says they're a Naruto fan, it's a simple fact that they never just mean the manga—they also mean the anime, and more often than not, they mostly mean the anime. It's one franchise for which the bar is going to be incredibly high.
Naruto's manga debuted in 1999, running until 2014. Naruto's two anime, Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden, debuted in 2002 and ended in 2017. The recent end date might come as a surprise to newer anime fans—Naruto's influence on shonen is a living reality, and although some of its conventions already seem dated, it's just because of the sheer magnitude of its impact on shōnen as a genre. Hajime Isayama wrote his name amongst the greatest mangaka with Attack on Titan. A decade-long journey full of mind-boggling twists took the anime to great heights. A successful spree has helped the anime gain millions of followers. Recently, the entire Attack on Titan fandom was criticized for their egotistical comments. They compared Hajime Isayama with Isaac Newton in a social media post.
Everyone has a favorite anime and would do anything to defend it or highlight the mangaka. Sometimes, a lack of logic in opinions can escalate matters. The same thing happened with the Attack on Titan fandom. Social media users did not find it amusing. They are bashing them for going out of line with the comparison.

The Tokyo High Court has sentenced Jung-Hyun Park, a former editor of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, to 11 years in prison for the murder of his wife. The court found Park’s claim that his wife committed suicide to be unconvincing.
According to the police reports eight years ago, Park had allegedly strangled his wife to death on Aug 9, 2016, at their Sendagi residence in Tokyo’s Bunkyo ward.
Incident Details:
Around 2:45 a.m. that morning, Park called emergency services, stating that he found his wife collapsed at the bottom of the stairs near the first-floor entrance upon returning home. She was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
In a statement made following his wife’s death, Park claimed that his wife had committed suicide. However, an autopsy reportedly revealed signs of strangulation on Kanako’s neck.

In an exciting news for Gto fans, it has been revealed that Tohru Fujiwara’s Gto: Paradise Lost manga is finally resuming serialization after a year long hiatus.
According to an announcement in this year’s 18th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine, the manga will resume serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website under a new title: Gto: Paradise Lost Kai (which translates to Gto: Paradise Lost Renewed) starting April 1, 2024.
Gto: Paradise Lost went on a hiatus on Feb 13, 2023, with the promise of a summer 2023 return. However, those plans fell through, leading to frustration for both readers and the author himself.
In September 2023, Fujisawa took to Twitter to express his disappointment with the publisher’s decision to put the manga on indefinite hold as he felt that the live-action adaptation was being prioritized over the manga. He even hinted at the possibility of seeking a new publisher for the series.

Starting as a rebellion against the rigidity of everyday life and later becoming forever associated with violent youths, delinquents, popularly known as Yanki in Japan, have waned as a way of life in recent years. But their presence in media, especially anime, is ever on the rise. The Yanki are now part of a genre in Japanese pop culture that shows young teens who yearn to express themselves through bloody brawls rather than giving in to daily routines of studying, participating in after-school activities, and eventually losing their identity in the adult world. From shounen classics like Yu Yu Hakusho and action-comedies like Great Teacher Onizuka to surreal parodies like Cromartie High School, delinquent anime captured a corner of the audience's heart through the ethos of breaking the norm, with the subgenre finding new ways to entertain.

The 2000s were a landmark decade for anime. Anime was becoming popular internationally, and many great shows aired—some of which viewers might call unique. Shonen anime, the most popular demographic, had its fair share of unique anime during the 2000s.

Many of the best anime focus on pursuing a career. From office work to superstardom, quite a few anime protagonists' stories center around chasing success in their work life. Viewers who are or have been in the same position, whether hunting for a job or trying to excel after landing one, will often find their experiences highly relatable even if they aren't in the specific occupation depicted. The subgenre started gaining a foothold in the mid-to-late '90s with shows like Golden Boy and Great Teacher Onizuka. But it really began to hit its stride and achieve its current popularity in the early 2010s with comedies like Working!! and The Devil Is A Part-Timer!
While the primary aim of these shows is to entertain, like the best anime for beginners, many also teach viewers the ins and outs of various industries and how the reality of each job differs from popular belief.
