The story of this film was written by Manmohan Desai and the screenplay by Ramanand Sagar, both of them went to became big and major filmakers.
Bally Sagoo remixed the song Aaja Ai Bahar for his album Bollywood Flashback 2.
Aaja Aayi Bahaar" from RAJKUMAR (1964) and "Dekho Na O Babu" for GORI (1991) sound the same.
Manmohan Desai stated when Ramanand Sagar joined the film he changed the original script (written by Manmohan) and wanted to his (Ramanand) name to be credited as the writer. The producer took Ramanand's new story for the film , but Manmohan Desai got the credit and was paid.
Nanda was offered the film but declined.
