This is your above " LB " slasher ! What I consider a well thought out script with nice plot twists. Technology of the time was fully incorporated into this movie a nice look back at our technological beginnings. This movie has great editing along with a good soundtrack that fits the action. Just when you think you know what is going on.... You are dead.... A must add to your indie Horror movie watch list. 🍿

A Retro-Slasher-Flik with Hot Chicks & just the right Touch of Humor .... Starring that Debonair Host of " After Hours Cinema " , Lee Turner . He looks slightly Different ; but there's No Mistaking that Voice . He , along with a fine Young Cast from 18 short years ago , is Extremely Competent , Articulate , & Enthusiastic ! In Fact , Lee Co-Wrote the Script along with the Inspiring Director , David J. Gardner .
The Talented Cast Includes Lovely Angel Ehlers as the ill-fated 'Catherine' , Beautiful Tracy Pacheco Starring as 'Brooke' , & an Exciting Group of Charming & Shapely Young Ladies including Shannon Nelson , Phe Caplan , Candice Sumera , Renee Townes , Amy Hunter , Anjeanette Carter , Kristy Sabo , Tina Barr , & Julie Stoffer ! The Fine Young Actors Include Jason Hammer , Robert Axelrod , Dale Marks , Michael Fitzpatrick , Daron Southboy Fordham , Kevin Will , & Lawrence Turner > Possibly a Relation to Lee !
I'm honestly surprised that this Film hasn't garnered more Notoriety ; But Hopefully It'll Come Now at Long Last ! You can watch it here at VIMEO at 'WGUD LIVE' & It's also at You-Tube , So there's No Excuse to Miss " TheCampusHouse.Com " ; & maybe Mr. Turner can HighLight it Someday at " After Hours Cinema " , that is if he hasn't already shown it & I missed out ; But there's No Reason Not to Air It Again !
Let's do some time travel in this hidden indie horror gem. Campus house takes you there to the early days of reality tv (if only the Kardashians were cast the world would be such a nicer place). Cool Villain and odes to the classics with winks to what would be taking over television in just a few short years. Plenty of girls running around in their underwear and you somehow end up rooting for the next victim to be slashed. Fall in love with slashers all over again. Cuddle up on the couch, popcorn in hand and treat yourself to a throw back when time was spent around the tv and dvds were all the rage. The young cast delivers as well as the director.
Saw this movie recently through a friend.
What I can say about TheCampusHouse.Com is that it is a sort of love letter film to old school slashers of the Halloween days; movies with such iconic horror characters as Jason Voorhees, Freddy Kruger, Michael Myers, all seem to have left their respective marks on the filmmakers, er, in regards to their reception in the movies, of course - not physical marks!
What is so charming about CampusHouse is that it is obvious the amount of fun the movie has with itself. From the style, to the story, to the set-up, to the killer, the movie isn't shy about letting on that the filmmakers are True Blue fans of the genre.
In a sense, you could say that CampusHouse is not much more than a fan film, though its a solid fan film to be sure. The budget is obviously low, the actors aren't necessarily top notch, and the story becomes fairly predictable, yet therein lies it's charm.
You know the film you're getting isn't meant to be something anymore than what it appears to be, which is respectable and helps in allowing you to simply sit back and let the movie speak for itself.
Despite some of these drawbacks, the story is interesting enough with a small amount of bloody violence, though if you're a horror fan who loves their gore, CampusHouse is bound to disappoint - the violence takes a more understood approach.
In addition, the killer is portrayed fairly well and the atmosphere of intensity indeed becomes palpable as the movie's third act reaches it's climax.
The dialogue isn't so bad, and the characters all have their quirks which make them all unique from one another.
In all, TheCampusHouse.Com provides, if nothing more, a simple, enjoyable, viewing experience in it's considerably short runtime, for fans of the genre - those with retro sensibilities, especially.

This movie is everything I had hoped for, very campy and hot girls abound. Truly ahead of its time and worth a revisit to the early days of reality tv plus all of the right people die. Lol.
