A Different Perspective to the Oldest Lands

Pictorial, fiction and cast qualities are quite impressive.

Main characters are based on top rated Turkish TV series "Deli Yürek". Zeynep (Melda Bekcan) and Yusuf (Kenan Imirzalioglu) are lovers who could never marry. The theme of inability to come together is well processed as it was in TV series. But with a totally different story and perspective.

You will have the chance to listen beautiful voice (also to see the beautiful face) of Turkish singer Zara as Leyla. This movie has a nationalist (not extreme or racist) attitude, containing conspiracies (most of them are true).

Story reflects people and customs of the south-eastern Turkey as well as their pains.

Betrayal, action and love come into the fiction in an oriental content; a good thriller.

cool Turkish action movie

Kenan imirzalioglu plays the tall and handsome ex-special forces all round hero 'Deliyurek'(=Braveheart) in this nice action adventure/spy movie.

The story starts with the hero visiting the wedding of one of his former colleagues in Diyarbakir in the South-East of Turkey, who then gets shot, and Deliyurek starts investigating the murder/taking revenge.

I really enjoyed the locations and the action scenes. There is also a tv-series called deliyurek by the same actor and crew.

I can't wait for the sequel..
