Bret Hart and Davey Boy Smith in WWF in Your House 5 (1995)

Trivia

WWF in Your House 5

Edit
The Ahmed Johnson (Tony Norris)-Buddy Landel match was meant as an "inside joke" for the "smart" wrestling fans in the audience. Landel was known as "The Nature Boy," following in the tradition of Buddy Rogers and Ric Flair. Shane Douglas (Dean Douglas) hates Ric Flair with a passion and has done so for years and years. Thus, it's a guy who wrestles and dresses a lot like Flair getting squashed in 30 seconds. This was Douglas' last ever appearance in WWF. It was Landel's only WWF PPV match ever, only his third PPV match ever, after his losses to Brian Pillman at WCW/NWA the Great American Bash (1990) and to Dustin Rhodes at WCW Wrestle War (1991), and his last PPV match ever.
Xanta Klaus (Jonathan Rechner) would only make one more appearance on WWE TV after this show. He defeated Scott Taylor (later known as Scotty 2 Hotty) on the December 23, 1995 "WWF Superstars". Rechner would not return to WWE TV until Cena Gets Drafted (2005) (June 6, 2005) as Balls Mahoney as part of the buildup for ECW One Night Stand (2005).
Jeff Jarrett made his surprise return after a five month absence here.
A WWF superstar (Bret Hart) bled for the first time in years at this event.
Hunter Hearst Helmsley suffered a huge gash in his back after being thrown into the steel gate during the hog pen match with Henry O Godwinn.
