    weird and wonderful

Damn, that is one crazy love story. I' m not a fan of romcoms, but this movie had some pretty dark edges. All characters were so out of it, that they become mesmerizing. You never know what they are going to do next. It is not your typical love story that's for sure. It's a good way to be recognizable for New Zealand film community when you have no money and no stars. All you have to do is turn a typical love story into a blackest relationship comedy without the blood or gore. Well-done guys! The film is not only watchable, but it is highly amusing. The only problem with this film that had was the fact that i hated every single character in it. They all behaved like some crazy weirdoes, who never know what they want. On the other hand, probably, there lies the charm of the movie. Where have you seen a romantic comedy where all characters are annoying bunch of dummies?

Funny at parts, but absolutely silly and absurd!

This movie starts to be funny. The first scenes where we see Ben (played by Dean O'Gorman) cheating his girlfriend Emily (Marisa Stott) are very well conceived and are pretty laughable; but then I think it starts to exaggerate too much! The main character, Ben, is a complete idiot! I mean, a guy like this cannot really exist! He's too silly, dumb, stupid and absolutely crazy to be true! What starts to be peculiar, original and pretty funny turns then into stupidity, silliness and absurdity, just because of his fault! He plays with everyone and everything, as all people in the world would appreciate his stupid and childish little games… Grow up dude! Well, to be fair, I must say at least one person appreciates his crazy little games… the equally crazy and extremely mad Chlo (Kate Elliot) – the girl with whom he's cheating his girlfriend!

To sum up, I think this movie is really funny at parts, but it ends up being a pretty childish and silly comedy!

    Fast, strange and silly

This is a really strange and over-the-top movie about young people in New Zealand. It is a roller-coaster ride of a story about people cheating on each other and makes us think about what attracts us to people in the first place.

They throw too much into it, there are so many twists and turns but alot of the twists are repetitive. However, it is good fun, and although not many of the characters are likeable, they do entertain us.

    Worth watching.
