Trivia

Cendrillon 2 : Une vie de princesse

Edit
(at around 14 mins) When Cinderella is in her room crying, "A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes" can be heard playing in the background. This is the song she sings at the beginning of Cendrillon (1950). It also plays during the end credits.
The second sequel Le Sortilège de Cendrillon 3 (2007) was supposed to ignore the events of this film, however, some characters introduced in this film appear in brief cameos.
(at around 21 mins) Cinderella mentions that she hopes to become good friends with Prudence. In the sequel Le Sortilège de Cendrillon 3 (2007), in which Prudence makes a brief cameo, Cinderella implies that they both became close friends.
This was Walt Disney Animation Japan's ninth feature. The studio was closed in 2005 after Disney's decision to stop producing hand drawn animation in favor of their new computer animated projects.
Cinderella does not speak to her stepmother, fairy godmother, or Drizella through out the movie.
