Minghella will star as Whitney Halberstram, described as “the CFO and Founder of Tender, a payment processor entering a growth phase.” He will appear alongside returning cast members like Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Ken Leung, Sagar Radia, Kit Harington as Sir Henry Muck, and Miriam Petche.

Minghella received an Emmy nomination for his role as Commander Nick Blaine in the critically-acclaimed Hulu series “The Handmaid’s Tale.” He also previously appeared in the popular Fox/Hulu comedy “The Mindy Project.” In film, Minghella is known for roles in projects like “The Social Network,” “Spiral,” “Babylon,” and “The Ides of March.”

Many of the most acclaimed and iconic films of recent memory are thrillers, ranging from blockbuster smash hits like Joker and Oppenheimer to critical darlings like Uncut Gems and Anatomy of a Fall. As the 2020s have continued, each year has provided an array of deeply memorable thrillers that further add to the strength of the genre as a whole.

A select few hardcore Far Side fans might count one, or more, of the cartoons collected here among their favorites, but by and large, these deep-cut comics will be new to a majority of readers, given that for one reason or another, they have garnered less attention than others.

As readers will quickly recognize, these cartoons contain all the same elements as the most beloved Far Side panels, and therefore deserve to have their reputations amplified among the generations of audiences who continue to discover Gary Larson's creatively chaotic ouvre to this day.

Mason Gooding is set to return in Spyglass Media Group and Paramount Pictures’ “Scream 7,” reprising his role as Chad Meeks-Martin from “Scream” (2022) and “Scream VI” (2023), according to an insider with knowledge of the project.

Gooding joins Neve Campbell and new cast members Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace and Sam Rechner. There’s no official word yet on Courteney Cox, Hayden Panettiere nor Jasmin Savoy Brown’s involvement, while fellow “core four” members Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega will not be returning.

The seventh installment of the classic meta-horror franchise will be released on Feb. 27, 2026.

It was previously announced that Campbell would return to the series as longtime heroine Sidney Prescott after stepping out of “Scream VI” in 2023 over a pay dispute. Created by Kevin Williamson alongside late director Wes Craven, “Scream” became one of the defining horror series of the 1990s for its satire of slasher film tropes.

Sources tell me that the actor will reprise his role Chad Meeks-Martin for the seventh installment of the horror franchise. Jasmin Savoy Brown, who plays Chad’s sister Mindy, has not officially signed on yet.

News of Gooding’s return comes after the film weathered production delays, creative overhauls and cast shakeups. Back in March, Gooding addressed the hiccups. “If it could make money, I guarantee, they’re making it,” he told me at the time. “It’s all about keeping up with what feels like is the best movie for the fans. ‘Scream’ doesn’t exist without the people who enjoy is as much as they do. … If people want it, they will certainly try their best to see it happen.”

The premium cabler has ordered a fourth season of Industry, its drama series set in the world of finance in London. The renewal comes with two episodes left in season three, whose finale is set to air Sept. 29.

Industry has show sizable ratings growth this season. While it’s never been one of HBO’s bigger shows, the series, created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, has improved by 40 percent on its season two performance, averaging 1.6 million cross-platform viewers per episode since its Aug. 11 premiere. Originally titled Horrorscope, Screen Gems is getting set to unleash Tarot in theaters this coming May, and the film has just received its official rating from the MPA this morning.

Tarot has been rated “PG-13” for “Horror violence, terror, bloody images, some strong language and drug content.” You can watch the previously released trailer down below.
