    Best Game Ever

10 out of 10 if you have a gameboy you have to buy Zelda - Links Awakening if you don't go buy a gameboy then buy this game, if you like computer games you have to play this game, its that simple. I was a kid when I first played Links Awakening and its got everything you want in a game great characters, action, adventure, puzzles, swords, mystery, castles, fairies all wrapped up in an engrossing story that's magical and dreamlike as well as the best twist of any game I've played and this is simply in my opinion the best game ever and I've played allot, I'm of to find the rest of those illusive sea shells and I suggest you do the same.

Possibly the best Zelda game ever.

Link has defeated Ganon (again!) and sets off for an adventure. His ship is caught in a deadly storm, which destroys the ship (possibly his entire crew as well) and leaves him on an island inhabited by strange people, friendly animals, and evil monsters.

As Link, you must set out to wake the Wind Fish, who is the only creature who can set you free of the island. To wake the Wind Fish, you must gather the eight instruments of the sirens, which are scattered about Koholint Island.

There are many puzzles in this game, and they don't frustrate you as bad as other games (like Myst and Riven). This game consists of lots of action and adventure and a great plot and storyline. The characters are even kind of realistic in their actions, and the music is actually quite good (just imagine it orchestrated).

If you are a fan of the Zelda series or even action adventure games, this one is a must have. It follows the Zelda storylines well and fits in with the rest of the games, even though it takes place in a land totally different from Hyrule.

wonderfully cute and intensely playable for days and days at a time

playing this game is like the equivalent of reading a very long and interesting novel. you can place your bookmark and come back to it any time you want (which will usually be a lot!). it really is just like going on one big long adventure. and again, just like a book, you quickly forget about everything after several months, once you have completed the game (which is actually quite hard). so you can come back and do it all again!

they got the difficulty just right. and you've got lots of items and weapons to collect and choose from. the graphics are really well rounded. in fact, i would say for a game boy the graphics are excellent. everything looks so cute. the musical score is amazing. the great tune, as you set off across the plains, is really stirring.

this is my favourite game ever. i really don't know what else to say, apart from you can get this game and a colour game boy for a couple of quid nowadays. so you really won't regret it

    Link's Awakening

Link's Awakening is the first hand-held Zelda and the first one to diverge from the Triforce, Ganon, and Zelda structure. This one instead takes place on a random island. A lot of people love this game, but I don't know why. In my opinion, it's one of the weaker Zelda games out there. Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages are far from my favorites, but they are both better and more interesting games. They both have a better story and overall have more to offer. As I remember, Link's Awakening does have some decent game play, but everything else about it is really dated. The music to these older games is hard to listen to. The first two Zelda games actually have better music than this. Yeah, we have the option of turning it off, but I like to have music while playing a game.

Link's Awakening is easy to play; it's not excessively difficult, but overall it just doesn't add that much to the series, in my opinion.

I never thought a Gameboy game could be this Good!!!

This is yet another of Shigeru Miyamoto's Masterpieces! I thought this game would be really bad and short because it was released for the Gameboy. I was wrong, the amount of difficulty and depth this game possesses is truly amazing! I can't wait for the next Zelda game!
