As Aventuras de Tiazinha (1999)

Trivia

As Aventuras de Tiazinha

Edit
The original idea for a Tiazinha series had the main superhero with an indigenous background. The protagonist was Ditiara, who then becomes the vigilante Tiá. This plot was scrapped in favor of the futuristic, sci-fi setting.
Before starring in this series, Suzana Alves was considered to replace Luciano Huck as the host of H (1996), the TV show where her character of Tiazinha was originated. Huck created the character, which forced the show to be moved from afternoons to evenings.
Paulo Nigro and Thiago Santana starred in different seasons of Chiquititas Brasil (1997).
The animated segments and special effects were provided by comic book company Fábrica de Quadrinhos. They were also behind the changing of the original indigenous setting to the sci-fi adventure this series ultimately became. Then-art director Rogério Vilela now hosts Inteligência Ltda. (2020) and interviewed Suzana Alves in Suzana Alves (2021).
José Mojica Marins guest stars in one episode. He is famous for the role of Coffin Joe ("Zé do Caixão") in Brazil.
