Some exciting new UK drama and comedy commissions are making their way to TV over the next year or so…

We know, we know. You still have two episodes of Fargo season two before you can think about starting season three. You’ve already fallen behind on American Gods. Your planner memory is chock-a-block with Big Little Lies and that Oj Simpson thing and some Spanish prison series your workmate bullied you into recording. You’re struggling to make time for Twin Peaks. New Game Of Thrones is just around the corner. And guess what, Netflix UK have just added a whole new season of It’s Always Sunny, those sods. You need a list of new TV show recommendations like you need a hole in the head.

And yet, as long as they keep making them, we’ll keep recommending them.

The spotlight shines on far more than the core trio of iconic stars of Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders. With the likes of primetime television veterans Steven Weber and Thomas Lennon leading the way, the full-length animated feature film boasts a supporting cast of notable voices from across all entertainment mediums and some of the best-loved animated properties.

Adam West (Batman), Burt Ward (Robin) and Julie Newmar (Catwoman) own top billing, but Weber (Wings, iZombie, NCIS: New Orleans) and Lennon (The Odd Couple, Reno 911!) – as trustworthy butler Alfred Pennyworth and Chief O’Hara, respectively – headline an impressive array of actors who were excited to give voice to a role in a Batman film.

Show Premise

Jack Breslin is a street cop who, upon investigating a series of unexplained murders, stumbles on Ta’ra, a female humanoid space alien from an orbiting prison starship, who is the only one that knows who or what is committing the murders. She reveals to Jack that she was a medical technician that survived an attack from an inmate alien known as a “Xenomorph” who killed her crew before escaping to Earth. They team up to stop the rogue alien by using Jack’s street smarts and Ta’Ra’s advanced alien technology.

I Love Mumbai, is an Ngo that has actively taken steps to help the environment not only by handing out saplings annually but also educating the younger generation and giving them the responsibility and experience to build a better, cleaner Mumbai.

In support of their cause, at a special event on August 10th, with the slogan “Grow More Trees Save The Environment” the Ngo distributed over 50,000 free saplings. Attending the event last Sunday were Nana Chudasama, World Chairman, Giants International along with his daughter and fashion designer Shaina Nc, Bollywood superstar Vivek Oberoi with his wife Priyanka Alva Oberoi and Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria.

However, while most enjoyed the film, there were certain individuals who felt the content of the film hurt certain religious sentiments. In view of this, a petition had been filed by advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha in November last year against the makers of the film for the same. Yesterday, a local court issued arrest warrants against the film's director -producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali, actors Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh in connection with the petition that was filed. Besides this, warrants were also issued against another producer KishoreLulla, as well as the musicians and lyricists of the movie. Issuing the arrest warrants, Chief Judicial Magistrate (Cjm) Sp Singh directed Mumbai Police Commissioner to arrest the persons concerned and...

The Wilmington, North Carolina portion of Iron Man 3's shoot is winding down this month, with production shifting to Fort Lauderdale, Florida starting October 1. Here are some excerpts from the press release issued by the Greater Fort Lauderdale organization.

Jesse James has been granted permission to move to Texas with his daughter. The motorcycle entrepreneur has been handed official custody of six-year-old Sunny and is now planning to move closer to ex-wife Sandra Bullock and her seven-month-old son Louis Bardo, much to the unhappiness of ex-wife Janine Lindemulder, who had gone to court to block his plans.

Upon hearing the decision of the Orange County Court in California, Janine, who is still officially sharing custody of the youngster, broke down shouting, "I'll move! I'll move!" Family Court Commissioner Thomas Schulte accepted both parents loved Sunny, but was concerned about the poor decisions Janine had made in the recent past, including a jail term and subsequent four-month stint in an Oregon halfway house and a battle with prescription drugs.

Although both parents love Sunny, they do not trust one another. Janine has faced a tough road and has been getting therapy recently but still requires more treatment.”

Loni added, “Mr. James could do with better parenting tools and should attend parenting classes. But in my opinion, at the moment Sunny should remain in Mr. James’ care.”
