Trivia

Anhonee

Edit
Remade as Chhote Sarkar (1996) and Kaun Sacha Kaun Jhootha.
There was a shelved movie Satish Khanna Productions " Mohabbat Ho Gayee Hain Tumse"(Anhonee) (2004) Starring Sanjay Dutt, Chandrachur Singh, Shamita Shetty, Puru Raaj Kumar, Anupama Verma,Rajiv Verma,Shyama Deshpande,Paresh Rawal,Alok Nath,Tinnu Anand. Music by Sanjeev-Darshan, Produced by Satish Khanna,Dhiraj Gupta,Gautam Kapur, Directed by Rishi Talwar.
Ravi Tandon convinced his friend Gulu to turn producer and he would direct. The film was a block buster. Ravi had previously shown the script to many producers who all turned it down.
Anhonee's title music was later used for Inkaar, Bhaayanak, Shaitan Mujrim, Taxi Chor,Inspector Eagle, Bhanmanush, Woh Mili Thi, Naya Zaher,7 Days.
The song "Hungama Ho Gaya", Pyarelal of the Laxmikant - Pyarelal duo had once said that the bass guitar in this song was played by his brother Gorakh. However, the film's opening credits explicitly credited Charanjit Singh for the film's bass guitar. Additionally, Gorakh, who along with Shashikant, was usually credited as an assistant in Laxmikant - Pyarelal films of that time, was conspicuously absent from the credits of this film. The song was sampled from Jefferson Airplane's song "Somebody To Love". The title music of Haath Ki Safai also had a portion similar tune that was used in the song "Hungama Ho Gaya". Dharmatma's Cabaret Dance Music at 0:41 also had the same tune. Years later the song "Hungama Ho Gaya" was remixed and used in the film Queen.
