the movie is good

Everyday I'm watching it, I feel very angry and sad because of Maria Clara lifes very conflict. Maria Clara is a very nice woman, honest but everybody always takes advantage of her! I can't accept it! Let's Carlos Raul and Maria Clara be together again with Teresita. I will be happy and smile again On the positive side it had some good performances by Aura Cristina Geithner as Barbara and Astrid Gruber as Vilma and also featured Carla Ortiz as the beautiful Andrea. Also this novela had the return of Ariel Lopez Padilla to telenovelas since the scandal and this was one of his best performances. On the down side the leads played by Scarlet Ortiz and Jorge Aravenna were not as exactly a compelling couple which a telenovela should have and that may be the biggest weakness of the show. Overall the show had humor in it as well and it featured some comical moments and even the villains didn't always take themselves so seriously and in this case it worked. So overall I would say it is pretty good though not great and I would give it a "B" if I were grading it and at least it could keep you entertained for an hour.

Brilliant Soap

Hello, this cast was one of my best that I have ever watched. I love all casts involving Scarlet Ortiz. The whole of my family do love it. This cast has proved to be one of the best by Scarlet Ortiz. In fact the name "Camila" has replaced her name in the house due to a previous movie performed by her. I'd want to make a special request if I could get a freed DVD for this cast. This will be one of my best moments ever. I bet I will watch it over and over again. I would love to see more and more of such movies.

Cheers, you guys are doing a good job there!

Ahhhh, a good telenovela!

"Secreto de Amor" is the best telenovela, I have ever watched. Scarlet Ortiz, Jorge Aravena and Yul Burkle did a good job in this novela, the theme song is catchy and is performed by Joan Sebastian(Joan Sebastian co-starred with Maribel Guadia en "Tu y Yo" in 1996). I give this telenovela **********out of**********.

excellent

I have watched a number of telenovelas Secreto DE amour is outstanding.. i love it the acting is OK.i wish in real life Lesandro and Maria Clara were together but not instead Braulio.

I love Maria Clara and even Carlos Bravo all.

What you have t o improve on is the sceneries they look alike with that of La Mujer mi Vida make a difference please as there was a difference in La maker Lorenzo.

By the way i want to get in touch with Carlos Raul ,Lesandro and Maria Clara anyone who can help me i will appreciate.

Andrea i like you so much not forgetting your Daddy in the soap long live your group but need to keep in touch with the actors and actresses please

Excellent Telenovela

Very well thought out storyline. The crew did a tremendous job with every episode. Wish they had more fueds towards the end with Andrea and Vilma, however this telenovela was filled with so much drama and suspense. I've watch more and more and always enjoy the acting from everyone in this telenovela. Definately one of my favorites bye far.

comments on secreto de amor telenova

excellent.i give it a thumbs up.i enjoy every bit of this telenova and wish it could even be longer.i give a thumbs up for Lesandro who is so real in his acting,Scarlet ,for acting like one able to bear real temptations and suffering.thumbs up for Barbara too,she is so beautiful.i must say i luv this telenova and would love to see scarlet married to Carlos ,her heart's desire after all she has gone through, though Lesandro's love for her is real. This telenova though sometimes brings with it a lot of pain especially when scarlet is so frequently accused of what she hasn't done and when Lesandro is saddened by the fact that he might not end up marrying Scarlet.

Possibly the worst telenovela ever made

If you ever want to see a telenovela that can't be described as anything more than an insult, I advise you to agonize through Secreto de Amor. The story begins smoothly and looks like it's going to be promising, but as the weeks pass, more mistakes are made and the plot just becomes more and more ridiculous. The acting is painfully mediocre (its protagonists Venezuelan Scarlet Ortiz & Venezuelan-Peruvian Jorge Aravena are no exceptions), and the characters are either the sweetest thing since whipped cream or insane criminals who murder anyone in their path for no reason. The cast is made up of many different hispanic backgrounds, but this doesn't save it from being a total mess: Colombians Aura Cristina Geither (who is way too exaggerative for her own good) & Adriana Cataño, Cuban-Mexican Jorge Luis Pila, Bolivian Carla Ortiz, Mexicans Anna Silvetti & Ariel Lopez Padilla, and a slew of Venezuelans & Cubans including Astrid Gruber, Yul Burkle, Humberto Rossenfield, Griselda Noguera, Lino Ferrer and more. This novela is a prime example of a product that wishes to sell more for its pretty faces than its plot. Almost the entire cast has perfect bodies and perfect smiles, but almost all of these people's acting makes porn stars look like Golden Globe winners. If you've never watched a telenovela before, don't make Secreto de Amor your first. And if you're an avid novela watcher, I don't even have to warn you about this garbage. You know this is one you should stay away from. 0 of 4 stars.

Very Entertaining Telenovela

This telenovela may not rank as one of the all-time greats but it was a very entertaining and relatively fast paced novela. The writing is not the greatest and the plots are not always thought out as well as they could have been. On the positive side it had some good performances by Aura Cristina Geithner as Barbara and Astrid Gruber as Vilma and also featured Carla Ortiz as the beautiful Andrea. Best Telenovela

Secreto de amor was a very good telenovela with a very wonderful storyline. It has met with success in many countries around the world. Scarlet Ortiz, Aura Christina and Jorge Pila did a wonderful job. Maybe they should have chosen somebody else to play Carlos Raul other than Jorge Aravena but his performance wasn't that bad. The bad thing with this telenovela was the opening sequence which was just awful!!! They still credited characters who had already died like Elluz Peraza who played Maria Clara's mother she died in the third episode. The ending was also awful some pictures and words were entangled together. In this areas they did not do it justice. At least they could have done something similar to the opening sequence of Cuando Seas Mia or at least have shown some of the wonderful beaches and sceneries of Miami where it was filmed. Otherwise the telenovella was great!!!

Pathetic

I've watched quite a number of telenovelas from Mexico and Venezuela. I give two thumbs up to MIS TRES HERMANAS! Juana's Miracle was ok, and Cuando Seas Mias was not too bad.

However, Secreto de Amor was really bad. I agree with Luis, the plot was ridiculous! I watched it for the sake of Scarlet Ortiz. I'm sorry for the other actors.... the acting was bad. I don't feel the emotions when they cried. It was a huge different when i watched MIS TRES HERMANAS... i felt soooo touched! The plot was good and the acting was real.

I can't imagined having irrational and immature boyfriend / husband like CARLOS RAUL.... Pity him!!!
