Academy Award-winning actor Daniel Day-Lewis famously retired from acting in 2017, but it looks as if he might be coming out of retirement for a brief moment if reports prove to be true. Photos obtained by The Daily Mail show the 67-year-old star on the set of a new movie with Sean Bean thats supposedly titled Avelyne, though it should be noted that a quick internet search yields no such results for the film, so that name could be code for another title, something that isnt unusual with big Hollywood productions. Pat Heywood, the veteran Scottish actress who made her film debut as Olivia Hussey’s nurse and confidant in Franco Zeffirelli’s adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, has died. She was 92.

Heywood died June 26, the Scottish Daily Mail reported.

During her four-decade career, Heywood portrayed the maid in the manor at the center of Freddie Francis’ horror comedy Mumsy, Nanny, Sonny and Girly (1970) and the wife of British serial killer John Christie (Richard Attenborough) in the Richard Fleischer-directed 10 Rillington Place (1971).

Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet (1968), which also starred Leonard Whiting alongside Hussey and featured narration from Laurence Olivier, was a hit at the box office as it introduced a new generation to Shakespearean tragedy. Paul McCartney, Phil Collins and Anjelica Huston had been among those considered for the top roles.

Actor Tom Wilkinson, well known for his roles in The Full Monty among many other films, has passed away.

Per BBC News, Wilkinson died on Saturday at his home while surrounded by his wife and family members. The actor's passing was confirmed in a statement from the family released to the press. Wilkson was 75 years old.

"It is with great sadness that the family of Tom Wilkinson announce that he died suddenly at home on December 30. His wife and family were with him," Wilkinson's family stated. "The family asks for privacy at this time."

Wilkinson is especially well known for his role as Gerald Cooper in the British comedy The Full Monty, released in 1997. For his role in the film, the actor won a BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, and he won a SAG Award along with the rest of the cast. Wilkinson had just recently...

In the heart of Mayfair, very close to Green Park and Hyde Park Corner tube stations. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, making the Curzon Mayfair a good destination for film plus dinner. Cuisines on offer include French, Lebanese, Indian, Spanish and Turkish.

Building

The cinema opened in 1934. It has two screens and a total capacity of 420. Screen One is graced by two royal boxes. The Grade II-listed, seven–storey building is modern but not especially inviting from the outside. It's much more welcoming once you get inside the door, though: you find a bar on your left with comfortable leather sofas, coffee tables and candles.
